I don’t know if I’ve said this yet but, since had been reading only the Bible for many years, it takes me forever to read other “normal” books. If I read fast, I feel like I’m skimming.

It's so great seeing your journey throughout the Bible! It has myself very excited for when I journey into the entire Bible starting January 1st. Very cool breakdown of Nehemiah, and it has myself looking forward to reading the Old Testament for the first time. 😀

I think reading Ezra-Nehemiah is really important for understanding the Hebrew Bible as a whole, not only the prophets, but especially Deuteronomy.

I normally read Ezra and Nehemiah together as one book.

In the Tanakh, they're bundled together into one book. I was surprised to see a Jewish website that was like "the 24 books of the Hebrew Bible" and so I clicked through and learned something!
