Hi mate I'm a bit late to this party but just wanted you to know how brilliant your tutorials are you make it very easy to follow along which make it great to play along and go back to the song parts well broken down lessons in a simple way and thanks I'm fairly intermediate I'd say and I can learn your tutorials in around 10 to 20 minutes or so and you teach all the exact types and styles of songs that I love ! thanks again wish you all the best 👍
Wow... Thanks for this. I'm teaching myself to play acoustic guitar and your tutorials have been a huge help. "Correct way" or not... If they teach a beginner how to grasp the basics, that's awesome. I'm very grateful!
I’m starting to learn this song , whenever I learn how to play a song I spend time practising then take time out if I feel too overwhelmed trying to learn a song as some songs take memorising to know how to play a song
I've just started playing guitar again after a long time....so long in fact it took me 3 days to work out which side of the guitar to play (ftr it's the side with the strings on it) anyway I just wanted to say thanks for all the videos you have put up, they have helped to increase my confidence & competence with the guitar. @davidfarrell123 Yep - I play it that way too sometimes (and in fact if you watch John and George in the clip from Help you can see that's how they play it too).
Possibly Germany beats Australia in a Soccer Tournament but in Guitar playing the Aussies are still invincible ;-) Youre just great! Thanks! Regards from Karlsruhe/Germany
@whiskeygeneration Yes - the correct way is to basically fret the top E on the third fret pretty much throughout the song (playing Dsus, Cadd9 and Fadd9) as opposed to C, D and F. I probably should have mentioned that in the tutorial, but decided to do what I thought would be easier for most people. In hindsight, I probably should have just done it the proper way.
i play it using a dsus4 and fadd9, sounds more like the song by my ear, and a c with pinky on the 1st string fret 3 (whatever that chord is). basically a more noel/lazy version of doing it but still sounds good, no right way though.
f maj 7 dont work mate id stick with just F .i no disrespect but i dont see how you would think it would . i meen respect to your your videos are very heloful but putting a fmaj7 when its just a F makes no sence at all it wont sound correct to the song
