This a question to JP Cormier.. after watching this video at least 25 times or more it begs the question… how many guitars do you have played that either burst into flames or exploded from your style of playing? And are you really a Bot ?
@@70snuttodd95 Chet is Fabulous. To me his playing always has sounded like he is putting together planned ideas and his feel is a little stilted to me as a Jazz guitarist.JP is like a hurricane he is like an ocean wave. I heard JP say that Chet A. is his influence and inspiration. Let me just say that I personally prefer JP .
Every time I view this incredible performance I expect to see the guitar explode into flames…. Never have I seen anyone play like that for so long and completely flawless… JP must be AI is all that makes sense… an incredible player
I knew he could play but this is a truly amazing performance. World class playing. I have to say I think this is by far one of the best, if not the best sounding acoustics using a pickup through a pa system I have heard. I am forever in search of the ultimate plugged in acoustic sound. I am 51 and still haven’t found what I’m looking for. This sound blew my mind 🤯
I made a promise to myself that if I ever heard an acoustic that sounded so pure and clean I would buy it. To have a master like JP Cormier lead me to it was a bonus of his genius mastery of the guitar. Thanks JP
My bucket list is to be able to play one JP Cormier composition. I have 100 percent confidence that will never happen in this lifetime. His genius is granted to only a few and my boat has already sailed !
25 th time watching this video. Simply beautiful music played by two master guitarists. How this guitar did not explode in flames is a mystery of the ages.
It was BREATHTAKING seeing this live, and now I get to enjoy this moment again! Thx Brickhouse for posting this and for bringing JP to town. BTW the Maestro sounds amazing.
JP is Like God when hes playing guitar I gets lost in his playing your one hell of a guitar player love to hear him seating around a kitchen table and having a nice cold one
Very elegant sounding guitar 😊. Should raise the action just a bit and voilà!!! He does play with a heavy pick. I think Jake is channelling Gunning in that outfit lol... Cheers!!!
Martin Corp really needs to see this. They are not what they used to be in my opinion. Owned nearly a dozen over the last 50 years and their quality control has really slipped, and the competition is eating them for lunch
Holy cow, that's a great sounding guitar. I'm sure that having such a great player helps! Most sweet sounding guitars somewhat lack in punch, but this one has it all.
Thanks, We should have renewed stock in a few weeks. If you can send an email to us at sales@brickhouseguitars.com we can keep you informed. Cheers, Roger
That is correct. Hozen, the master luthier has his home shop in Singapore. He travels and works along side his team of eight builders at his facility in China for around six to eight months each year . While his highly skilled staff assemble the instruments Hozen individually hand tunes every single guitar during their build process. This is what makes his guitars so unique and yet so incredibly affordable. Cheers, Roger
@@BrickhouseGuitarsKitchener thanks for the reply,, I’m just afraid to buy a guitar without playing it, but no other choice since there are no Maestro dealers near me..oh and I love Brickhouseguitars,, hopefully someday I can visit. Thanks again
GEEZE... Billy who??? Strings What??? John Paul just made "Dust in a Baggy" dude look like a punk.... lol I seen JP's review on the Maestro just last night. I've never paid over $800 for a dreadnought but that may change... 👍
J.P.Cormier is one of the finest musicians on this planet! And he lives in Nova Scotia!! He's ours!!!!
You have to share!
This is almost an out of body experience to see JP play and his presentation is simply flawless. The Canadian Chet Atkins

JP is better than Chet Atkins , IMHO .
I was going to say that but didn't know if it would be blasphemy, I believe JP has utmost respect for Chet, obviously

Now I know why John grew that belly. So he could see his hands while he plays .😄😄😄

One of the most beautiful guitar performances I've ever heard. JP is the man.
Holy jumping JP! That was as fine a performance as I've heard in some time. A maestro plays a Maestro! Thanks for sharing
Fantastic music - and such a broad range of celtic and American influences.
wow - it really get's cracking.
Astounding, almost psychedelic
I'll watch any video so long as Jake Lauzon is in it.
These two are a DYNAMIC DUO.

Months later and the hairs are still standing up on my arms as I listen to this yet again.
He's just that good. Thankful I found him several years ago. Very calming music.
Beautiful guitar. Beautiful sound.
Fantastic!!! JP. What a sound that Maestro Dreadnought.
That is some crazy good pickin’. Wow!

Terrific job JP. Jake Lauzon great player also.
Lovely arrangement . . . good as it gets.
Wonderful. Thank you. J. P. 🙂👍
Superb playing and sound too..
Insane!
Great sounding guitar.
Off the charts good
Love the 14 fret slothead. Reminds me of the first norman blake album. Norman played a 52 d-18 with a custom made slothead neck
You are the best flattop player of our generation. THNX Jp.
Awesome performance. Can't get much better than that.
Wow! Keep it up. Acoustic is Acoustic! LONG MAY YOU PLAY!
What talent!
Nice picking JP
That's wearin' it out! BRAVO!!
Beautiful! Just to hear a chord on a great guitar is awesome.
wow that tone!!!! great recording as wel1
Simply wonderful!!
Wow, magical !!!🙏
Love it!!
great sounding guitar!
Amazing performance!!👏🏼
Great stuff! Thanks! 🌞🎅🏻🎉
I would love to hear JP’s opinion on Maestro Guitars. 😊
JP discusses Brickhouse and Maestro guitars on his own TH-cam channel. I think it's Guitar Stuff with John .
Beautiful
NICE!
When I went to the folk clubs in the 70s and 80s, people used to look down on me, because I used a pick.
Thats a Big Guitar

Pretty, I don't think I've ever seen a 14-fret slothead before.
Check out the cover of Norman Blake's first album
Guitar stuff with Jon

Listen to that thing chime
less is more is usually the best way in music but in this case I can accept all the notes!
What is the title of this simply outrageously beautiful tune … or is it an original. Any one want to take a crack at tabbing it ? 😂😂
Damn. So good.
great sounding rig & performance!
When is the pickup JP is using going to be available? Absolutely beautiful performance.

I realy think that john has no limits to his talents ,and the genre of music he plays . Melody is his musical oyster.
Breathtaking! What is the song they are playing??
What guitar is the rhythm player playing?
Looks like a Boucher BG-52. I just bought one.
what song are they playing ?
Unfortunately I don't have that information handy. Perhaps you could send a message to JP Cormier. Cheers!
My only problem is he could make a box brownie sound good?
I just found out that Maestro guitars are made in China,, not Singapore,,there is no manufacturing plant in Singapore,,😊
