J.P Cormier is the reason I bought my RD-328. An excellent guitar for the price that will be my main acoustic forever. I love my little RPH-05 as well. Both my two favorite acoustics, and I used to own a Martin.
Awesome playing & sound! I recently purchased a 2014 Recording King/Schoenberg size 0 solid mahogany with solid Engleman spruce top and I am blown away with the sound & volume of it. I have been trying to connect with others who have this guitar but have had no luck. I hope someone who has one will see this and contact me.
I don't know how Recording King does it but they are making some damn fine instruments for reasonable coin and they also managed to hook up with two amazing guitarists!
These two guys can pick the strings off of any guitar 🎸guitars sound great JP sounds more like DOC WATSON than any one I've ever heard, you can see where his influence came from, great flatpicking, both of you are great guitar players, hope to see you live one day.
I bought a used - pristine - RO-328 with a K&K Pure mini installed for less than $1000 canadian and I couldn't be happier. My only "complaint" is that I find the top and the gloss finish very thick which contributes I'm sure to dampen rhe sound. I just can't imagine how fantastic this guitar would be with the top and rhe lacquer a bit thinner.
