For example, with me, I wasn’t expecting anything immediate and if anything, I was expecting something more ‘slow burn’ and gradual. I more formally started talking to this person back in June and we are friends, he makes me laugh with his way of joking around with me (saying how things are my fault or that I did it but almost always making sure I know he’s just joking). Personally I’d say it’s working and taking its time working its magic, which I’m content with (especially because I didn’t want anything fast paced that I wasn’t personally ready for).

I rarely comment but this is really effective. My boyfriend and i broke up and it was really bad. I have a strong willed bf. Update on this, thank you to whoever has liked my comment and reminded that this exists. Starting off strong with I’d be comfortable just remaining friends with him. For example, with me, I wasn’t expecting anything immediate and if anything, I was expecting something more ‘slow burn’ and gradual. I more formally started talking to this person back in June and we are friends, he makes me laugh with his way of joking around with me (saying how things are my fault or that I did it but almost always making sure I know he’s just joking). Personally I’d say it’s working and taking its time working its magic, which I’m content with (especially because I didn’t want anything fast paced that I wasn’t personally ready for).
