Posting here because your other video about reverse culture shock is closed to commenting. As a British born American I can say from a white male perspective that we find black women attractive, oh boy we do. I think that with the stigmas and attitudes here in America, most of us would rather err on the side of caution and stay within their race. I guarantee you that if you have a nice personality and make it known that you are open to biracial relationships you will be busy! I think that's it, we dont get the vibe that the good looking black women sitting at the next table are open to conversation, leading to a phone number, leading to a date later on with a white guy. In fact, hate to say it but the opposite is probably closer to reality based on my experiences. There are probably millions and millions of us who would jump at the chance to date someone like yourself. I hear the locker room talk and it's by far more positive than negative. Good luck and happy hunting! 😎
I'm engaged to a beautiful Filipina and getting married next year. Race, socioeconomic status, colour and anything else is completely irrelevant. We both love each other and we are both Christians.
So true about british guys! Sometimes i wish i could just marry my husband over and over again. And yes he is middle class which comes with very good manners!
I couldn't agree more with these lovely ladies. I'm a Black American and whenever I'm in a tourist destination in America I'm constantly getting hit on by English women. Was very interesting.
I was one of those white blokes dating black women in London. I was in London for about 2 years on secondment with my bank about 6 years ago, am from one of the whitest places in Britain, and I almost exclusively dated black and Indian women, completely and utterly by accident. I just found that very attractive black and Indian women were/are generally much more down to earth, funny and interesting than the white women in London, and far, far less arrogant. I’m now married to a stunning black American and we have a beautiful little daughter together, and I still can’t believe how lucky I am.
I think most British people don't care what colour you are, if we see a women we're attracted to that's it. I'm a man your a woman (man-man women-women). The thing that makes me the most proud about being British is that for most British people we see a person first not colour, nationality, religion etc. And I would just like to add both of you are very beautiful.
can i ask a question? I've never met a person that is Black British, Black French, Black German. They dont label themselves as Black. They say im Bristish, I'm french or I'm German. Why do Black people in America say I'm African American and not I'm American. I think if you label yourself as different then you are different, but if you label yourself as just American then your the same.
@@tonner385 i get what you mean. I'm from Martinique, a French overseas territory in the Caribbean. I've been living 10 years in London. When I introduce myself I say I'm French from the West Indies/Caribbean. The terms "black/white have always made me feel uncomfortable as it is not acceptable in French culture to describe/reduce someone to their skin colour, especially in public spaces. It's considered offensive and racist. Now, some may use those terms in private conversations (this you have no control over). But in public, they would think twice before using them or they would get the side eye, and would have to apologise.
I noticed, those in tracksuit are usually Eastern Europeans. I dated a posh English man in London, and he placed so much value on me. Showered me with love and care. I mean, I felt very feminine and sexy just being with him. I'm still fairly new in America and I have yet to find such men here.
Just found this channel. Can you give us tips on how to meet British guys? I feel like it's impossible to meet anyone outside of work and I'm in my 30's
The ratio of men to women here in America is like 1:4. Reason being is that a lot of black men are either in prison married or gay. Guys end up playing the field because women here are extremely competitive with one another and the ratio is so high in favor of the men. Some women come at you harder if they know that you are married here in this country.
English means anyone born in England regardless of race. British means anyone from England, Scotland or Wales (or you can call them English, Scottish or Welsh if you know where they are from - otherwise British is the safest term to use). Northern Irish are from the UK but not Britain. Britain is the largest island of the British Isles and contains Scotland Wales and England. The UK is England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. The rest of the island of Ireland (which is not Northern Ireland) is The Republic of Ireland which is a separate independent country. Not part of the UK or Britain. Clear?

I so agree with you! I definitely experienced good reception when I was there. Skin colour was not an issues at all for most (I’ll go ahead and say most :D)
Just this morning, I met a very nice british guy, but he's black british and I'm African-american. I found this video bc I was online trying to find out info on black british guys (in case there are differences from the general info about british men). Let's just say, I couldn't find anything!! Would you be willing to share some insight? Perhaps, the next video with you and Love Fleurette could comment on it. (crossing my fingers)
Ideally most British white people prefer if you ask them which part of Britain they originate from, they will identify with the region they come from. There are countries and regions in Britain where many people are resistant to the idea of being labelled British - Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Cornwall, Kent, etc. These regions are effectively living under British occupation.
So in reverse does this mean that as a white European male I'd have the best option to date black girls in the US than in London? Cause obviously in London I am competing with many more guys. :D
I am a Caribbean American woman, born and raised in New York City. White men do date black women here in NYC. It is not as common as you seeing white men with asian women, but it happens. I only date white men, and have since 18, and I never have a problem in Nyc with white men dating men. It's easy, but quality is lacking because most men of all nationalities in Nyc just want to hookup. it is a big hookup culture in Nyc and i'm not interested in that. You will have no problems dating black women in the US. You must approach us first though @wemema
Kells ,I'm from china and want to know something about the dating culture in the west.I heard the majority of western people have sex before commitment,is that true?A british white girl told me they usually have sex on the fourth or fifth date and then they become loves.......and many couples in london were friends with benifits before they commit with each other. She told me of that,I don't know if it's true?
You can't marry someone without knowing your sexual compatibility if you want a honest and love relationship. It's important have all experiences as much as possible before the official commitment in order to be more confident and realist. Many in Western think like this.
Nice collab video! I know its old but its a nice one! I used to talk to a British guy on the phone for a bit-- he was def a bit low class-- it surprised the hell out of me!
so are you actually referring to black men or white? iam curious to know it seems your saying British to mean European(white) so could you be more specific this discussion is very vague.
People who are entitled to carry a British passport are British, whatever their race. Of course some non white people may struggle with that. Go to a cricket match between India and England and find out which country the non white British passport holders are supporting.
I disagree with that if someone is born in England and clearly part of English culture, I'd consider them English, Black or any other heritage, British is an easier term though and includes more people.
But by law If you dont hav english blood U can never b english Thats y there is so Much problems With people gettin deported People hav no idea They deport people all tbe time For no reason But it never makes the news
I disagree about the English comment. If the guy/girl has been brought up here then he/she is English. In the same way had the girl/guy been brought up in Scotland etc, then that guy/girl would be Scottish. Wherever your family came from, you are now English, Scottish, Welsh etc.
It's Kells No. The young lady in the video is right. Even black people born here don't feel they are English, Scottish, Irish or Welsh - we see ourselves as British citizens or Black British.
It's Kells People from Germany or Poland will say they are English after a couple of generations. But it's harder for black people to forget they are from the Caribbean or Africa because it's obvious. Lol.
+Rose Marie hmm is that a self fulfilling tho? Meaning, are we imposing that restriction on ourselves or would people actually scoff at a say 3rd generation English person who's great grand parents were from Jamaica (black descent). As far as I know English (Londoners) are rather tolerant and would likely be ok with it. Thoughts?
When the British man like us, he will tell us? I not sure about that. I like one guy and I think he like me but we never talk. I'm so afraid to ask and he never come and try nothing. Just eyes contact. Like a game. I want to go and ask but...
In regards to seeing black guys in London we go out but, you should know how the door policies working in some bars and clubs. White guys always get priority when getting in these places, black men are left outside.
I'm a Black woman in the United States, & thinking about moving to the UK. Is the dating scene really better than the U.S? Also does age matter? I'm over 40 (still a looker though) lol. Thanks for this video and yur answer
For me dating just felt lighter, more fun and fulfilling, especially interracial dating… it seemed wayyy easier and more natural than in the States, the white gentlemen were cool and interested in stepping forward to initiate a potential relationship. Over 40 doesn’t matter the age criterial for everything we have in the States seems to be a bit later in life and relaxed overseas. I’m excited for you to give the UK a try! I highly recommend even if it just to learn about yourself from OUTSIDE of an American perspective. This alone is paradigm shifting! ❤️ love to you on this journey! Keep me posted!

Why are black women with English accents just so damn cute and charming? I apologize to those I've offended with my opinionated observation. I'm sorry, in fact I don't care who've I've offended by my honest appraisal. If I had a do over on my marriage choice (38 years on) who knows? canin trovert - no problemo, in the past few years a lot of US-Americans and Canadians have moved to Germany so I know visas are easy to attain for Germany.
I think the disproportion is just based on what we see. The proportion in most american East coast cities is 52/48 women to men - but it seems more skewed because in US Women go out and socialize more and in larger groups. American men stay home with their video games and doritos. I think in the UK it is a bit flipped; the men go out to the pubs with their mates and women are perhaps less social in that particular scene.
I live in the Black Country in the Midlands near Birmingham, so its very much a cultural mixing pot. I prefer a black girl because they are strong women but also very strong on there family. So you have all the love but the strengths that goes with it!
I have been trying to find a way to live in England for a while and I found I just cant unless Im rich or marry a british man. I'm not trying to marry someone to go to England. Although I am an American, I would have to be a doctor or have exceptional talent to get a work visa to live and work in England. It is not easy migrating there at all. I would go and stay there for 6 months if I had a remote job that allows me to travel all over the world.
I will definitely keep my wits about myself. I've watched (and thumbs up'd) your other videos too. I plan on taking it slow & having as much fun as possible without getting too smitten especially with that accent. 😁
Thank accent will get you everytime, BUT what I realized is that once you've dated more than one you realize what is charming and what is a regular, run-of-the-mill old British bloke lol
I'm half American and have Colombian AKA Spanish so basically I am mixed and I have light skin with curly hair so you can clearly tell that I have Spanish features and also American features from my dad. I don't speak Spanish and I tried but I could never learn. My parents were an interracial couple. I am seeing a British guy and he is so sweet and gentle to me. He always tells me how beautiful I am and very affectionate. We tell each other about our country and we both are pretty shocked. For example he can't understand many things about Americans but the same goes with me towards England because I don't understand how they don't season their Foods other than using salt? 😂 If either one of us leaves our country to be with the other it will be an adjustment if that happens.
You're British if you were born in England, Scotland or Wales. A Scotsman, for example, is both British and Scottish...it does NOT matter if you're black or white (6 mins 54 secs). A black guy born in England is both British and English.
English means "white"? What the hell are you talking about? English means from England. There are loads of Black Welsh people... they're not English. It's got nothing to do with race, they're nationalities. To an American the best example would be all Californians are Americans but not all Americans are Californians. English people (of all colors) are British but not all Brits are English? It's not rocket science people.
British is a Nationality... But English is a race. It comes from the word "Anglo". If you're raised in England, but not anglo, you're just a British raised in England.
English is absolutely not a race, anymore than Scottish or welsh or Irish is (and they aren't). England is a country, and people from here are English. Race has nothing to do with it.
@@sleepcrime I think I can reply this better than any American as a Native Hawaiian. English means "white" because white people are the "Native People" of UK. English people have History that goes back 1000 years or more in the UK. English people build those beautiful castles and buildings UK has(like Big Ben). Same thing applies for Hawai'i. If the black American girl was born in Hawai'i she'll be looked at as a "black girl that just happened to be born in Hawai'i". Native Hawaiians like myself will never accept her as one of our own. From a Native Hawaiian!
@@sleepcrime When you have ancestors that stretch back 1000's of years you can't help but, want to protect it. If you like I can help you get in contact with a Native American man and he can tell you all about why "gatekeeping" is important. English doesn't just mean white, posh and from London! Just an observation, as so many Americans seem to think that's exactly what England is. There's a whole country outside London, and other countries outside England. Come to North West England!!!
i have absolutely no problem with interracial dating , but i will not stray , i love my dark sweet chocolate , that's my confession , and i'am sticking with it , Black women are the sweetest women in the world.

"You will be busy" 😂😂😂😂

So true about british guys! Sometimes i wish i could just marry my husband over and over again. And yes he is middle class which comes with very good manners!

I couldn't agree more with these lovely ladies. I'm a Black American and whenever I'm in a tourist destination in America I'm constantly getting hit on by English women. Was very interesting.
I'm West Indian...from Trinidad&Tobago and I love British men! Their accent is the sexiest thing ever! Wish I could live in London.
Lovely story. Treat her like a queen!! All the best to you and your beautiful family!
Cool ! :)
+Malcolm ODonnell Agreed, love Brits ❤️ Why thank you 😊
can i ask a question?
I've never met a person that is Black British, Black French, Black German. They dont label themselves as Black. They say im Bristish, I'm french or I'm German. Why do Black people in America say I'm African American and not I'm American.
I think if you label yourself as different then you are different, but if you label yourself as just American then your the same.
+Malcolm ODonnell it's not self prescribed
@@tonner385 i get what you mean. I'm from Martinique, a French overseas territory in the Caribbean. I've been living 10 years in London. When I introduce myself I say I'm French from the West Indies/Caribbean. The terms "black/white have always made me feel uncomfortable as it is not acceptable in French culture to describe/reduce someone to their skin colour, especially in public spaces. It's considered offensive and racist. Now, some may use those terms in private conversations (this you have no control over). But in public, they would think twice before using them or they would get the side eye, and would have to apologise.
Please say you have been other places in the U.K.? London is a very small part of England and is a poor representation of the whole country
I noticed, those in tracksuit are usually Eastern Europeans. I dated a posh English man in London, and he placed so much value on me. Showered me with love and care. I mean, I felt very feminine and sexy just being with him. I'm still fairly new in America and I have yet to find such men here.

Clear?
id correct you there north of lreland is part of lreland not part of the uk
To be English you must be white. Respect the Anglo Saxon life ffs

Born and raised in London and I have no luck dating here. I seem to meet more men abroad.
Where's his family originally from? Africa or the Caribbean?
Ideally most British white people prefer if you ask them which part of Britain they originate from, they will identify with the region they come from. There are countries and regions in Britain where many people are resistant to the idea of being labelled British - Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Cornwall, Kent, etc. These regions are effectively living under British occupation.
+Nicholas Miles 🤔 interesting

wales at a stretch, scotland maybe, northern ireland definitely.

So in reverse does this mean that as a white European male I'd have the best option to date black girls in the US than in London? Cause obviously in London I am competing with many more guys. :D
+wemema 🤔 food for thought
I am a Caribbean American woman, born and raised in New York City. White men do date black women here in NYC. It is not as common as you seeing white men with asian women, but it happens. I only date white men, and have since 18, and I never have a problem in Nyc with white men dating men. It's easy, but quality is lacking because most men of all nationalities in Nyc just want to hookup. it is a big hookup culture in Nyc and i'm not interested in that. You will have no problems dating black women in the US. You must approach us first though @wemema
If you are healthy, educated, kind, and somewhat established and attractive you won't have an issue.
Kells
,I'm from china and want to know something about the dating culture in the west.I heard the majority of western people have sex before commitment,is that true?A british white girl told me they usually have sex on the fourth or fifth date and then they become loves.......and many couples in london were friends with benifits before they commit with each other. She told me of that,I don't know if it's true?
You can't marry someone without knowing your sexual compatibility if you want a honest and love relationship. It's important have all experiences as much as possible before the official commitment in order to be more confident and realist. Many in Western think like this.
I went to a Chinese university and there was definitely a lot of sex before marriage going on lol
Im black girl and I think British guys sound more romantic because of their accent
Haha I agreee!
Right im moving to DC or NY

I disagree about the English comment.
If the guy/girl has been brought up here then he/she is English. In the same way had the girl/guy been brought up in Scotland etc, then that guy/girl would be Scottish.
Wherever your family came from, you are now English, Scottish, Welsh etc.
+Daniel Crockett gotcha
It's Kells No. The young lady in the video is right. Even black people born here don't feel they are English, Scottish, Irish or Welsh - we see ourselves as British citizens or Black British.
+Rose Marie do you white people born there, but descendants of let's say Poland or Germany feel that they are English?

I think the disproportion is just based on what we see. The proportion in most american East coast cities is 52/48 women to men - but it seems more skewed because in US Women go out and socialize more and in larger groups. American men stay home with their video games and doritos. I think in the UK it is a bit flipped; the men go out to the pubs with their mates and women are perhaps less social in that particular scene.
that makes sense
Generally I wish British guys could be more approachable! Sometimes I feel like they are afraid to make the first move or something...

Maura Sanchez - British culture is more reserved especially in southern England.

+MrDeWonderful yeah because it's a city on the moon not actually in England… 🤔
It's Kells I like your sarcasm. Nevertheless...
It's Kells regional differences do exist though. I live less than an hour south of Glasgow and I can tell you it's a totally different world up there.
Of course they do exist, but using “in any way” is a bit extreme
London

Racially

Much racial tension
Some people do
Not mix with other races
I have been trying to find a way to live in England for a while and I found I just cant unless Im rich or marry a british man. I'm not trying to marry someone to go to England. Although I am an American, I would have to be a doctor or have exceptional talent to get a work visa to live and work in England. It is not easy migrating there at all. I would go and stay there for 6 months if I had a remote job that allows me to travel all over the world.

@@sleepcrime
I think I can reply this better than any American as a Native Hawaiian.
@@oliveraparicio8464 nationality isn't a matter of opinion. You're "gatekeeping" and it's nothing to be proud of.
@@sleepcrime
When you have ancestors that stretch back 1000's of years you can't help but, want to protect it. If you like I can help you get in contact with a Native American man and he can tell you all about why "gatekeeping" is important. I'm sure Native Europeans don't want to go down the same path the Native Americans did.
