Somehow I feel these bikes are still approachable as compared to buying/maintaining desirable premium cars. At 10 lakhs I can get alot of really good desirable bikes but at 10 lakhs all I can get is a mid variant Nexon/Venue... I hope you're getting what I'm trying to say.
These kinds of reviews are what helps the customer to understand what they are going to buy.Simple explanation covering alla major and minor similarities ,differences, ownership experience and so on.Fancy reviews with all cinematic videos, heavy background music and light effects may not be as helpful as this.Great comparison guys
Great comparison of many really important aspects of these two bikes. I appreciate the time spent on discussing the bikes and the way they ride and fit, rather than a lot of time with loud music and or show-off riding. Very well done!
This reminds me of the childhood banters we had regarding our MTBs on dirt trails. We need more content like this! P.S. what if these two actually reviewed MTBs for a change? I'd definitely watch it😜
Most affordable offroader in world is Hero Xpulse which is very light and fits for Indian roads and every indian can buy it , I have one and proud of owning Xpulse .
Literally! Every time I'm Confused about which motorcycle is the best value for money, You guys make a comparison between those bikes. It happened 2 months ago, (Z900 vs F900 vs Triumph Street Triple R) and now it happened today in this video... Thank You, Guys!!! Great Reviews...
Thank you from Russia for that interesting comparison! It's good you showed, that GT is also an off road capable bike, since almost every other time people only talk about Rally version off road features.
Before watching this video, I am a MultiStrada fan sice childhood. Whoever wins I will buy a MultiStrada only... If Ambani is gracious enough to give me money 😎
I have been waiting for this video since the 950 S was launched in India. The tiger, the Africa twin or the 850 GS are all better than the 950 S without a doubt. But the multistrada is still my favourite.
Good review, we just look at the bikes from visual aspect, but you guys highlighted how they will perform in real world situations. Small details helps to make the clear picture and maybe buying decisions too
I loved how the t900gt rode (I ride a 765rs). But (without having ridden one) I'd probably gravitate towards the multi due to its sporty genes. It sort of feels, like you said, like a comfy street naked sport bike.
Great review format having two buddies just chatting about their opinions. Also refreshing to get honest feedback about the proc and cons without the default Ducati is always the best. I've test road both and agree with most of the opinions here. I assumed the Tiger would be more comfortable and confidence inspiring while offroad, but I was shocked at how well it did in the twisties. I could easily keep pace with guys on sport bikes and be more comfortable in the process.
Excellent comparo Autocar, was looking for the same .Both bikes excellent but too pricey, Ducati should have launched the 950 variant without all these electronics ( suspension) as an option , these electronics unnecessarily push the price up by 3 lakhs . Triumph at least has the 850 sport , which can do everything the GT version can. If you are only considering touring on tarmac and mild offroad, Versys 1000 with all electronics, comfort, performance, better than both. 3 lakhs cheaper than the triumph and 5 lakhs cheaper than the multi( both on road PAN India). In Indian context these numbers not small .
I've ridden the old 950, and I can tell you that the best aspect of the new one is the suspension. It's brilliant stuff, but good things come at a price. Versys is definitely a great deal for road touring, but its a biiiig bike
3 cylinder engine would always have more vibration than a 2 cylinder one because of unbalanced additional cylinder (evident in all odd number cylinder engines). Hence such engines are not high reving and are tuned in such a way that most of it's torque are extracted at lower revs. However, this is a plus point for Triumph's Tiger over Multistrada since low to mid range torque is always user friendly in off roading terrains. Whatever it maybe, Ducati's Multistrada is ❤
@@midhungopan9270 Hi Midhun, the comment I made above was a generic statement which stands true for all odd number cylinder engines. Engines are generally designed and tuned according to their application, whether you require it to be under skin of a high reving sports bike or a low to mid range grunt cruiser. 3 cylinder sports bike engines generally have lesser stroke to bore ratio thereby reducing unbalanced centrifugal forces considerably but also having lesser torque generated due to shorter crank lengths. Also these bikes have better techs like balancer shafts to further reduce oscillations, which might be the case in bikes you mentioned above.
TBH, all bikers are one of the "idiots" on the road too. People buying expensive bikes have no custody over the roads. Anybody who doesn't let you ride fast is an "idiot". Just normal human thinking. Nothing wrong with it, but introspection is necessary to survive rides in India. Because a bike won't save you, but your riding will.
No doubt, plenty of bikers can be idiots. And people on fast bikes have an absolute responsibility themselves - I stated that very thing in my column last month - www.autocarindia.com/auto-blogs/can-we-tone-it-down-420053. My point is that its impossible to hold a steady highway cruising speed because someone is always either in the wrong lane, randomly braking, changing direction with no warning, swerving on or off the road, walking across the road, and the list goes on. In such circumstances, a tractable motor is a blessing.
Why we watch these reviews even though most of us can't afford any of these. Only due to the passion of riding. Btw nice review guys

Well said Milin
Because we love bikes 😍...no matter you have the money or not just watch and enjoy.
We will afford this motorcycles one day
Rishaad has such a soothing voice and the manner of talking even the angriest mind will calm down. Best bike reviewer in India maybe..
Yup , for me Sagar Sheldekar, Rishaad and Kartikeya stand right at the top
Hahah, don't know about the calming bit, but thanks!
Rishad is a top notch no nonsense guy...

I strongly agree with you on that.
Autocar still keeping the automotive review standards high. Keep it up guys. Always a treat to watch any motorcycle review on your channel.

Great homework for the review..no theatrics,an actual review!!kudos!!👍
Calling the Tiger’s design “purposeful” is nearly poetic. Excellent observation!!!
6:00 truer words never spoken before.
No Nonsense and matured presentation.
Incredible content

P.S. what if these two actually reviewed MTBs for a change? I'd definitely watch it😜
Hahah, we know nothing about MTB's and have very little interest in the manual labour aspect of riding one :p
Very good job guys! I was searching exactly for a match between those bikes.
Most affordable offroader in world is Hero Xpulse which is very light and fits for Indian roads and every indian can buy it , I have one and proud of owning Xpulse .
I just loved the comparison. Wow! The Best! 🤝👏👏
How tall are you ? Even the tiger looks like a splendor when you're standing next to it .😂
Haha. I'm 6'1"

Hi Autocar,
Please make such a informative video on 500 cc line up
1. Benelli Trk 502 X
2. Honda CB 500x
6. Versys 650.
As soon as we can
No matter how much great these bikes may be , our road is best suited only upto 500CC bikes. Anything more than will be used once or twice an year.
You'd be surprised at how versatile a big ADV can be.

I'm not one interested in adventure bikes much, but if i have to have one Ducati multistrada will be the one...❤️❤️❤️
Great review! Thanks for making an sharing it!
Good review guys, I got what I need from this.
The first time I saw a multistrada on a Bangalore road, Its been my crush.
I'd love 400-500 cc versions of these bikes and lighter by 20-30 kgs.
That would be brilliant
Multistrada is a beauty
Expectations: Tiger vs Ducati
Reality: Splendor vs Star City
Tiger 900 GT has heating issues.
It throws heat directly on your legs and it heat up so badly 🔥🔥
Pretty much every bike in this category gets hot. Wait till you try a Ducati in the city :p
I am Here only for Rushaad ❤️❤️...great review 🎉

Please make a review on Multistrada and F900XR
Good review guys best i've seen, Ducati is and looks the nicer bike
Looking forward for a comprehensive comparison between Tiger 900 Rally Pro and Africa Twin Manual..
Honda has never had a media test bike for the Africa Twin :l
Great review guys! 👍
Thanks!
Comparation we wanted

please make 390adv vs trk502 vs cb500x
perfect comparison review..
Why the Honda Africa twin is neglected in major comparisons?
Honda India does not have media bikes
Need Tiger
vs
Honda 500x
And Africa twin
Great review, without over dramatic music👍🏻
What u think about africa twin 1100??
Thanks, Haven't ridden one of those. Honda has no media bikes.
Great comparison. Rishad u r flawless.

But the tripple cylinder Street tripple and MT-09 are so smooth, way more smoother than V twins or parallel twins

When you are on the OFFROADING GT isn't the right choice it's the RALLY or RALLY PRO
GT is for the roads......
Does the Ducati put a lot of heat on your legs when riding........????
I'm happy with my YAMAHA FZ-S 153CC Bike
I need Ducati design with new honda Africa twin reliable engine with triumph premium quality and low end torque so low speed in higher gears
How tall is this guy? He makes both of them look like cycles! They are big bikes especially the Multi 950, 1260 and the 1200 tiger!
When r we gonna see a rocket 3 review
Sadly Triumph has no media bikes, and no plans for one any time soon.
Bro please make a ride review of triumph tiger 850 sport
Please
As soon as Triumph gives us a test bike.
@@RishaadMody1 waiting for rider rishaad review❤️
May be add one more bike for comparison multisarda 950 vs tiger 900 vs versys 1000
The Versys is very much a road going motorcycle
Tiger 900 is real vfm!!.. with its class
I like the looks of Muti better than the tiger. For that reason i'd get the Multi of the two.
Location?
PLEASE MAKE A VIDEO ON KAWASAKI VULCAN S
Expecting a tiger with trident 660 engine...then that's affordable for most of the triumph lovers in India..
Multistrada anytime
I'll go for the Land Rover.....
What a sports tourer bikes
Why can't we have good touring bikes for short riders like around 790-780mm seat height
Very hard to engineer good round clearance and suspension travel in with low seats
Is Rishaad really tall or is the Tiger really that small?
Bit of both. I'm 6'1" and the Tiger has a nice and low 810mm seat height
Its like Ferrari vs McLean
Ducati makes tiger look like a kid.
Waiting for KTM to launch superadventure 1290 r
2024 my target would be Ducati multistrada 950s
We love bikes but not to afford it
*not today. Today's dream is tomorrow's reality.
Please make vedio of bmw adventure bike vs Triumph tiger anyone oppose this please like?
BMW doesn't have any middle weight ADVs available here at the moment.
Pitch this Ducati against Tiger Rally Pro variant and it will smoke it out !!!!
On road, yes, but that Rally is surprisingly capable even on the tarmac. Nevertheless, The Rally will be next level off road. Apples and oranges.
Tiger is love...
If you want a adventure go for rally versions😅
So wish the 🐯 provided with a hydraulic clutch and brakes.
Multistrada 🔥🔥🔥
Whatever the bike is, in India, due to safety norms, saree guard makes bike look ugly.
