    Hi did you brush the internal corner and trowel or use a twitcher or corner trowel?? For finish between coats

    Two hands 😂 really going for that polish! Looks good tho 👍 on a side note have you ever used a 1200 Nela black edition .4mm blade stiffer than a speedskim and a lot heavier but way nicer grip speedskim grip ain't really all that good... If you ever see one check it out they pretty reasonable price think you'd probably like it!

    Why were you so sure that the plaster would "go quickly" given that it had - had 2 coats of PVA? And when you say quickly, what does that actually equate to in time? - I'm very new to this

    Beautiful work again buddy.
    So when you use just the trowel and on old walls, you combine the flatten and close in?
    By the way is it okay to use a bag of multi 4 days out of date on an old wall? I was going to have another practice weeks back but a back injury stopped me but now I’m ready to go my bag of multi I notice was out of date 4 days ago.

    If you hold a long straight edge against the plaster is it realistic that it’s completely flat against it? I’ve plastered a few walls and the finish looks good but against a level it’s a few mm low in places.

    • @AlexMorleyPlastering
      @AlexMorleyPlastering  ปีที่แล้ว

      Just practice getting the timing right. If you flatten it too early it leaves it a bit early when doing it all with a trowel.

    I'm a complete novice tried to plaster on plasterboard 2ft by 8ft only managed 1 coat went hard before could do anything else have you any links or videos that could help me. And how do you gauge how much plaster to mix I mixed 3/4 bag and thrower half away thanks

    • @AlexMorleyPlastering
      @AlexMorleyPlastering  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Easiest way is to gauge it on the m². 1 bag does about 10 m²

    Very nice. But why waste time going over the beads first? Just get it on as would be faster, I had a fella work for me a few times always had to go over the scrim first and kept saying “that’s what we learnt at college “
    So I sacked him 🤣

    Anytime when you use trowel for finishing you have to clean your trowel…

    Fucking he’ll mate that plaster is way too far gone, grinding it back like fuck. It’s not about how shiny it is it’s about how flat it is. If your grinding it back that dry it mustn’t be flat. Try getting it flatter sooner
