- I am making an rc boat! In this video i am making the hull done! The next video will be published soon to.! So stay tuned.
The whole project started when i got in love with the rc controlled supply boats.
I will install electronics, rudders and shafts in the next video, i will also test run it in the water.

Hey man you need to protect the foam this foam is sintétic component need to protect whit paint glue tape , polyester resine not be contact in foam that's why your mold started to crumble and use gas mask this is fiber glase you are using is dangerous is talking who works in this area and knows what they say thanks .
It's nice to see you just going for it young man the mistakes you make along the way helps you be better the next time. Also looking into Fiberglass ship repairs this will help anyone with making a haul like he has .
What’s the red stuff you put in the putty?
The "putty" is chopped fibreglass and resin from a can and the red stuff is the hardener. 👍

hey, what type of board did you use? and what glue it is? thank you! :)
I used regular styrofoam easy to shape, and the glue is regular resin for boats. But before you glue the styrofoam i sound have covered it with latex spray or something so it dosent melt in to the foam.
The blue board looks like blue insulation board sold at Parr lumber and home depot
@@johnhernandez9336 that is what it is John. If your looking for Blue Board for a build try looking for a place that just sales Insulation most place like that have snap and broken Blue board they just throw away good place to check for free Blue Board.
pretty cool me and my uncle are "designing" a ship to make and we have a few ideas currently but where gonna start with the (probably) easiest one.
Idea 1 a 40 inch (101.6 Centimeter) motor yacht based of off multiple 60 - 70 meter yachts in the world with interior and exterior lighting and active stabilizers (we planning on sailing her mostly in the east river in calm waters)
idea 2 a 5 feet (1.524 meter) long original 4 funneled ocean liner from the 1900-1920s with interior and exterior lighting and bilge pumps (where planning on sailing her mostly in our lake)
and idea 3 which is make a MS Batory 2 (would take inspirations from the qm2) 4 feet long (1.2192 meters) long and where not fully sure about with one but we think it would be pretty nice to make but make her have propeller pods instead of normal propellers

Oi, eu sou brasileiro e faz mais ou menos 1 ano que estou com a ideia de fazer um barco de controle remoto, o projeto já está em andamento, estou preparando a estrutura para colocar a manta de fibra de vidro (não vou usar molde, vou fazer a estrutura, papel e cobrir com fibra de vidro). Mas minha duvida é a seguinte, Como colocar o eixo do motor sem entrar água dentro do barco?
