I wish they had modelers and RC clubs in the US. But it seems mostly in England and Europe (Germany).
There are quite a few I remember from the 1980's, try a facebook search for RC Warship or RC yacht or RC powerboat clubs, you may be pleasantly surprised.

great boat! looks amazing. hoping to make one myself. when you put the fiberglass on the foam, did it react with it and eat away the foam? also do you know roughly how much it cost you in the end?
Think I have used about 4 - 5 hundred USD. It did react a little. I would recommend to cover the foam with something before fiberglasing it.

How did you prevent water from leaking in by the propeller shafts?
I greased the shaft before sliding them in, then they were watertight

Thanks, its a layer of primer. Makes the paint stick better to the boat.

@@CPTDilxDozer More likely some sort of modeling specific one? looks like the stuff my big tube of revell filler puts out. if not then i’ve used wood window frame filler in past.
