Great job! I just rode the San Gabriel River Trail to Seal Beach, but I started at Whittier Narrows (24 miles one-way). Did you guys ride all the way back to Santa Fe Dam (64 roundtrip miles)? That's a really long and tough ride, especially if you hit some winds either way!
@@joethecyclist8518 Nice! Next time I've got to start earlier so I have time to grab a decent meal near the pier. PBJ sandwich and Gatorade just didn't quite get it done and I did the 48 miles. LOL! Peace.
@@bruin4937 We had a take out of a box of cheese pizza from Slice of New York Pizza along main street. It was really good. My son loved it. Made the 32 miles ride worth it 😁
I rode this trail from the Valley Blvd exit all the way down to the Long Beach Aquarium. It was all bike path except for taking 2nd Street which links the river bike path to the beach bike path. A good 40 mile trip each way.
@@jerryloya1483 That's a different bike trail called the Rio Hondo Bikeway. You can take one of the bike paths to the ocean and then take the other path back. That's about 65-70 miles round trip depending on your starting point.

You guys were pedaling super slow. How long did it take?
About 3.5 hours. Had to do a few stops for my knees to rest 😁

Yes it goes all the way to Seal beach. You were probably going in the opposite direction. Go the other way. Hope that helps! Enjoy the ride.
