At the 29 minute mark those dirt fields under the power poles...back in the 60s 70s and 80s were Japanese owned strawberry farm!
Strawberries as big as softballs! Come home all red faced and a shirt full of strawberries!

Rolled onto your vid today. Really enjoyed it! The fast-forward is a great approach for long rides.
I’d love to ride it on my e-bike. I’ll add it to my bucket list! Happy trails to you!

Thank you so much for this video, I used to bike this trail with my father and brother when I was a kid, the nostalgia from watching you two go through the trail was heartwarming as my dad suffered a severe back injury and can no longer ride his bike. I used to start the trail at Del Amo Blvd. and Studebaker Rd. where Liberty Park and Rynerson Park are at and make my way to Seal Beach. I always wondered what the trail looked like if we headed north, farthest I went to was to Downey area. Anyways. deeply appreciate the video, hope you and your family are staying safe and healthy.

You should of at least went as far as Whittier Narrows! I grew up on Telegraph Rd...was always in that riverbed..
There used to be a strawberry farm right below Florence as big as a softball! Yup ✌️

I have done this before, but started from Encanto Park, which is before the 210. It was a great feeling finally getting to Seal Beach. Hope to do it again soon. Great video

I used to ride this about 15 years ago when I was in high school. Did from Seal Beach to Azusa and back twice. Some areas were a little sketch though you wouldn't see anybody. Looks more busy now than when I was riding it.

Beings back a lot of good memories. I rode this path many times but usually from wilderness park to seal beach. I did ride it North from wilderness park a few times all the way ti just behind the dam. We would rest and have a snack before heading back. Though I always preferred the Southern path. It's more enjoyable because there are more parks and greenery and you're rewarded at the end with the beach.😊.
I remember the top of the dam could get really windy. One of my best memories was riding South and about a minute or so before getting to PCH I noticed that a pelican had joined me. I felt like I could almost touch it but it was at least 10 feet from me. It stayed with me for about 30 seconds. He flew away just before PCH. It was awesome. I'll never forget it
Yeah, you have to be careful crossing PCH. We would usually eat breakfast at a diner on Main street.
    Enjoyed the video, thanks.

Great video for anyone who wants to preview the trail. I did have an observation - I think the rider in front could lower his seat to reduce that side-to-side movement. Happy trails.

They need to resurface the San Gabriel bike path. They also need to remove all the nonsense that is around it as well. Could be such a beautiful bike path if it was kept up with.
