Bro. Ive been watching your vids religiously, for weeks now, over and over. Trying to figure out a build I like. I got thru depths floor 30 on my corruption Kusa build but I’m really really digging the fists much more. Thank you for these videos bro. Seriously. Best build vids out there.
Just grabbed the game from PS+ and have been loving it. I fell into the idea that the tonfa were the fist weapon and mained them to level 100+ while swapping between kusarigama and the split staff as a secondary weapon. DIDN'T REALIZE I WAS DOIMG WRONG! Read your response to someone asking about unlocking the tree and am now aiming for it as either a new main or secondary because kind of live on low/mid stance tonfas.
Welcome to the Nioh 2 community and honestly there’s nothing wrong with experimenting early game because late game you’ll definitely want to focus on a main weapon for build crafting
Oh ok well since you’re that far along try to get to the last mission eye of the beholder and a Yasakani magatama will drop so you can actually start a build. And doing an early fist build would be tough since most of the sets for that weapon are in NG++ and later
Any tips for fighting more than one enemy? The second there is more than one I'm done. Also I just never stand a chance against the common enemy -bird person with the staff (karasu maybe?)
Try not to fight more than one enemy at a time…before going in to any area clear as many as you can with a bow or rifle and if you can’t help it try to keep them all in front of you at all times to control the fight….and karasu tengu is weak to Lightning and purity so that should help
I don’t know if you’re still responding but I’m just getting into nigh and really want to try a fists build i tried a bit of Kusarigama and didn’t like how slow but i want someone to pair with fists bc i really liked flash attack in 1 do you have any good combos or secondary rec for NG?
There are a few weapons that pair well with fists…you can go all in on close quarters and use the Tonfa for a max ki damage setup, the katana since it’s the default it pairs well with any weapon, or the splitstaff for a good balance of short range and long range
No problem and thank you for the feedback but you can use whatever element you like really…I prefer purity because it’s the easiest to apply to any enemy
Can you not do Reckless Charge and another attack or skill to get a stack of Unbroken? I tried countless times to chain Reckless Charge > Spinning Kick but i never get a stack of Unbroken! Is there some stupid timing issue with that? I can do this with other skills with no issue.
so my build is made of an odachi and switchglaive, i got the game from ps+, im lvl 88 rn didnt play much, i want my build to mostly tank but idk if im doing it wrong and instead of the schyte i thought of using tonfa's or fists. So the question is if i should continue with this build pr change it and if so what could i use
Since you’re still so early in the game anything you use at this time will be fine…I don’t usually recommend build crafting until you’ve beaten new game +…so dream of the strong…once you get to dream of the demon then you’ll start to see a lot more power and tankiness but for now just try your best to focus on leveling and getting as much Amrita as possible
@@KingRedDiamondGaming well tanking is my game style in basically all games also thank you for the amazing tip ill focus onto that for now and ill say i love to play a lot with using all the learnt skills to make mix ups even in betweeen weapons
Hey bud, love the detailed work you put into your videos. Great work. I was wondering if you had a build or any kind of info on a player who is around 200 to 210 in terms of stats? I'm a tonfa main normally but want to branch out and picked up fists. It's not as fast-paced as the Tonfa, in my opinion, so I'm having a difficult time with how to build my Stats, armor, weapons/element to rock with. Help, please?
Thanks I really appreciate that! And honestly around that level a build wouldn’t matter as much, just because you should be around the Dream region of Dream of the Strong difficulty…you won’t even get your first Yasakani Magatama until after you beat the final mission, unless you got really lucky and it dropped already, the Yasakani is pivotal to a build so that’s a requirement before you make one…so you should just focus on maxing your stats first before putting a build together. And the fists can be as fast paced as the Tonfa but they’re very ki hungry the fists are made for end game play in my opinion.
@@KingRedDiamondGaming I have a yasakani and already knocked out the main quest line. I just made one for lightning. Warrior of west armor, lightning fist, and amo guardian and High stance attack guardian. Have shock accumulation but can't seem to get electrified dmg vs enemies and my accessories. I'm also doing heart main Stat, then con, some courage and some strength. Good start?
@@rightreap3612 ok well since you have a yasakani you can definitely throw a build together…and yea it’s definitely a good start…try not to blow through materials though, you’ll need them for when you start earning ethereal gear and by that point your divine gear builds will be obsolete. But the only way you’ll be able to get melee vs electrified is in dream of the Nioh because it’ll drop as star effect rolls on accessories…the only skills that can be tempered with melee vs, are poison and paralysis
Every skill tree is already unlocked…in order to gain access to more skills you must simply use the weapon you want to unlock skills for…so if your main weapon is the sword just defeat enemies with it and you will gain skill points
@@KingRedDiamondGaming Okay I have the dlc but it only gave me access to the split staff but not the fists. I even ran through the first mission using only my bare hands. Am I doing something wrong? Or do they drop somewhere specifically.
@@KingRedDiamondGaming Ooooh okay, I feel like an idiot. I've now running through missions, just socking people and yokai in the mouth with my bare hands. The fact that their ki was going down faster made me think I was on the right path. Very in depth man! Great vid. U have a video of a good build to use. I’m new to the game
Thank you that’s much appreciated and if you haven’t completed the first difficulty yet I would hold off on a build until after that

beyond infinity after stomp? stomp buff disappears after 4 hits of it so it's not really working
