    "see if I can trick her up by being overly aggressive" i.e. "Hi I am Dwyrin and this is Jackass"
    Thank to the both of you for the game ; )

      Play carefully and lose gently would have been boring. Jackass and break a few bones was best.

    Cool game :) It's really interesting to have two TH-camrs play a game so that we can hear both players' viewpoint.

      Yes, that was the best part for me.

      One of them should mix the videos together, so they alternate their arguments. Some times they read the exact same thing, which was cool.

    This was fascinating to watch. I agree that a basics style rematch would be great to watch

    Thank you guys, it was amazing to watch both videos at the same time and hear you before each move!

    Thank you for the game & review. What made it super interesting IMO is hearing Dwyrin's thoughts as he played, then get the review from both Haylee and Dwyrin

  • @robharwood3538
    @robharwood3538 7 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    Wow! Now I *really* want to see you try your Basics style played against Haylee, just to compare how well it does, and how she reacts to it! This was super fun to watch, especially watching it from both perspectives. I hope you guys do this again soon. She seemed to really enjoy it and said multiple times, "Maybe I should play him more often." Surely, as with typical Go at your level, you could rack up at least a couple wins against her over time, right? Might be very instructive.

    It was really fun watching this game from both sides. You played really well! Kudos for trying an uncomfortable style against a former pro.

    When you review Haylee's games, did you look at her more recent games or her eariler games? Because when she play Tygem 9ds the agression can trip her up, but in her 5d games the hyper-agressive moves just make her laugh and smile.

    I was wondering why you didn't attach at d17 after Heylee defended at q18 instead of the strange shoulder hit that made no sense.

    I am lowly kyu, but I would not think the 3 stones were small what with all the ladders involved... ok, after watching game second time I can understand abandoning 3 stones, but I would never play o2 :)

  • @paysonfox88
    @paysonfox88 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    If Dwyrin blocked off the middle, he would be behind by a total of 11 or so including kome at the time. with endgame, that could balloon to about 20, so I'd say a correct handicap for Batts would be 2 or 3 stones against her, then he could win.
    Being only 2 or 3 stones off a former to 20 lady player in the world is akin to an AGA 7 dan. Since 2004, I'd say Dwyrin has improved from 6 dan to 7 dan AGA rating style.
    What do you think Dwyrin? Are you an AGA 7 Dan now? 6.5???

    honestly, you need to put a link to the game rules and descriptions of the terms you're using, liked your earlier videos, tried to watch this, but i just dont understand what is happening.

      Check out Sensei's Library, the Go wiki. There's every information about the game you need there

    • @Bladavia
      @Bladavia 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      His channel isn't targetted at complete beginners, he assumes you at least know the rules.

    • @pianoforte611
      @pianoforte611 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Go is an ancient board game like chess. It's quite difficult to understand because although the rules are simple, the strategies are complex. Sensei's library is comprehensive but difficult to read for a beginner. I would recommend this tutorial instead: online-go.com/learn-to-play-go/3

    Batt, why you alyways mumbling lame stuf when you about to play stronger opponents, like they will crush you, and you have no glimmer of hope for winning and blah blah blah?

    • @dwyrin
      @dwyrin  7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Cause i have no glimmer of hope of winning and they will crush me. Just being honest~ She's a former professional (which I have never been) and a tygem 9dan (closest I've been is almost ranking up to 8 off stream). Keeping it real, is all
