Well, that is a somewhat unique take on a song originally written for two characters in their teens who just met, on Long Island, during The Depression. A little stentorian for my tastes. But very Barbra. :)
Barbra didn't care about her "better" side back then. Later she would make talk show hosts switch the set around so her supposed "better" side was facing the camera.
Me too but that's her choice. Barbra sometimes sings nasally and sometimes not...Just listen Barbra singing People in 1965, there she sings loud, clear and less nasally.
