Pink and orange were a popular color combination back then.
For someone who hates the color orange, she sure looks fantastic in that outfit!
We were thrilled that her second SPECIAL was in COLOR . That wasn't a common thing back then. Another Emmy award winning show for her. She was a STAR !
A young Barbra, TV show post the success of her Broadway Funny Girl. She is truly funny, but so much more . Here she showcases her many talents, and of course she went on to become an international superstar , in Music and Movies and is still working six decades later , an icon , we salute you ❤
She is wonderful a gift from God who brings contentment enjoyment happiness and is medicine for the blood pressure. I have to have her in my life for my health. Thank you lovely Barbie doll. I sing you as a mimic act. Don't have an audience except for my neighbors and not one of those little chiselers has given me a dime or nickel

Barbra is simply one of the best performers in my lifetime. Of course, the Beatles are the absolute best ever in all aspects, but her voice! Her comedic timing. Charm. Great actress. Loves animals. We're so lucky to have the pleasure of being entertained by her.

I noticed that, too. In the final song of the medley there is a noticeable splice. She sings it on set up until the final 3 words ( . . ."at that face") which is clearly lifted from the recording studio version. To a certain extent, understandable given that there is a vocal crescendo and the most prolonged note of the entire set at the end. Obtaining a quality take like the recording studio version would have required numerous attempts . . .much easier & practical to just dub.

Who was the stunt person who did the flip on the trampoline? Barbra was too valuable a property to risk her breaking her neck or cracking her head open. If you look closely you can see the cut before and after that acrobatic feat. Even the prelude to that, the jumping on the trampoline was pretty risky stuff. I suppose that at that young age she was up for it. But still..
I remember reading an article from that time - Life or Look or whatever - and it said she was determined to do the trampoline part herself. So now I wonder if that was true.

This is Sadie this was the very first pet she ever had she loved that dog very very much so much so that when that dog died she had the dog cloned so she could get a dog that was just like her the dog loved to be where she was she is not torturing the dog
