  • Taking a look at the spartan 36 tooth Kobalt Long Handle Flex Head 3/8 Ratchet. A little bit pricey, but surprisingly good for a store house brand ratchet.

I like the Kobalt tools I have bought. A 3/8" drive stubby flex head ratchet and their 2 speed ratcheting screwdriver are my favorites.

I have that Kobalt and it’s on sale for $27 now. I believe it might be getting discontinued but it is a great unit and I’m very happy with it.

I just bought that ratchet for $17. Heck of a deal.

Yeah if you try to warranty them now they give you a BS skinny one

@@SouthPawFPV I saw the skinny ones there. I was wondering how they would hold up.

Cool ratchet I didn't know they made it. The pittsburg 3/8 is nice until the flex head comes loose and smacks you in the face with your socket and bolt you were trying to get started.

I am very happy with all of my Kobalt 90 tooth ratchets. I agree with your pricing comments. I've been looking at the 1/4" drive flex head and just can't seem to bring myself to drop 30$ for it. I'm hoping it will go on sale soon. As for their warranty, I had to swap out a 10mm ratchet wrench (I didn't break it, it was loaned out). They won't swap out of a set, you have to pick from their loose selection. Harbor Freight will just go to the shelf, and pull one out of a set and you're on your way. The 10mm ratchet wrench I found in the loose selection was a switch reversible style with a slightly angled head. Not a direct match for my broken one. Not complaining, it was overall painless. Thanks for the review, great job as usual. God bless, stay well.

Have you seen the new version? I like it but it is a little expensive. New one has smaller head 72 tooth.
