  • This video recaps the sad farewell in 1925 of Rambova and Valentino. It showcases the rare Valentino book written by Rambova with the original dust jacket Natacha's own books with her own bookplate. An informative letter from her cousin detailing Rambova's journey from NY to California for her final days. New video of those sites as they exist today.

Thanks for this tribute to a very special lady, a woman born in the wrong age.

Actually she was born at the right time. She was a set designer at the age of 20-22 years old, that would never happen in Hollywood today. The early years of Hollywood had far more women in key positions than today. June Matthis was the highest paid film executive in Hollywood. Btw, June discovered Valentino.

😢Valentino ha saputo scegliere, una donna bellissima, splendida, una donna di classe, elegante, naturalmente nulla togliere al grande Valentino.

Her fashion sense is so inspiring.Though it is vintage now, it was unique and modern, though from what I've learned of her, she herself was into vintage for her time period and seemed to take pieces of the vintage to create futuristic and seriously striking, unique fashion. She is a fashion icon and had such an interesting life, and on the outside so beautiful and on the inside so intelligent.I hope she reconnected with Valentino and her friends and her dog Bimbo in the afterlife.I so would love having a seance ' to attempt to communicate with her or at least to thank her for her amazing costume designs and influence in the fashion world even now.She seems like someone that would be a very interesting dinner guest.....Id definitely invite her to a fancy party in Europe somewhere... what an artist this woman was.I cannot get enough info about her!

Read "Madam Vakentino". I can't remember the author but he did a great job of explaining who she was. She led an exciting life from being spirited away at age 5 by her mother from an abusive husband/father who had been a Civil War hero to becoming the stepdaughter ( and taking hus name) of a magnate to being sent to boarding school in Europe as a child to being shot by her Russian lover to fleeing the Soanish Civil War with her dog to becoming an accomplished Egyptologist. Valentino was just a part if it.

Natasha was Right. Rudy Wanted a Home Maker and She Was Not That. They Were 2 of The Most Talented Individuals To Ever Grace Earth and Had They Stayed Together, They Probably Would Have Been Like Chaplin and Purchased Their Own Studio. There Is The Old Saying: “Be Careful What You Wish For. You May Get It.” Being That We Are All Light Energy Beings That Do Not Die, I’m Sure Rudy Got To Experience First Hand That Family Life He So Desired. And I’m Sure It Wasn’t All He Expected. The Lesson Is, When You Love Someone You Stay With Them Even Though In This SHORT LIFE, They May Not Desire Kids. Maybe In The Life Rudy Lived With Natascha, They Were Supposed To Just Be On That Endless Honeymoon. All Is Cycles. Enjoy and Make The Best Of The Cycle You Are In Cause Soon, It Will Be On To The next One To Follow That Dream. Blessings and Happy Trails To All.

She had something the studios wanted...Valentino. Do they set out to destroy her.

Very nice, tho Rudy's decision to sign a contract excluding Natasha from any part cost him his marriage, I can say, by looking at the way he looked at her in pictures, that he did truly love her! ❤ I surely hope they met again in heaven, a place where all those things that seemed to matter here don't matter anymore!
