Here's my tutorial of sorts on How to restyle, do her bun and curls on my Ever After High Duchess Swan doll hair,

Next time, try dipping the hair longer in the hot water or use a hotter water to make them last long :)

hey, i used a normal shampoo and conditioner for my duchess doll but the hair wouldn’t be styled

You really should have poured hot water over the fringe. You said it yourself - hot water flattens everything. If you don't want to get it on the bun, use a finger to wet just the fringe with cold water, and then pour the hot water with a spoon over the end of the fringe, it should soak into the wet parts and keep mostly off the dry parts. I hope this helps! Nice restyle nonetheless.
ThexBlackxKitty Yeah, I did wet it a little bit with the hot water while I was dipping the hair but I didn't worry much because I knew the head piece would eventually flatten it anyways haha :) But thanks for the tip and thanks for watching! :)

+DisneyBoy21 my great aunt used to work with Mattel when she was younger and she told me when she was alive that she got to do the dolls hair, box them, design them, pretty much what you do. That means you could end up doing that!!!!

You've done it again DisneyBoy! Another amazing hair restyling tutorial! I really love how Duchess turned out in the end, the curls are so perfect! I just don't like how Mattel gave her little streaks of white hair, but nonetheless, she looks gorgeous! Especially with those matching eyelashes. Perfection at its finest! Lol! I'm also glad how her bangs turned out, those little white streaks are so cute. And you even made her back hair accurate to the webisodes! That is so cool! I'm really amazed DisneyBoy. You did an amazing job! I also tried to let Duchess' hair down and she looks so fabulous (or should I say "fableous"). This totally made my day DisneyBoy and I really can't wait for Kitty's makeover. About the hair bun. I recently got the I Heart Fashion Wydona Spider doll. and she has a bump on the top of her head. I was wondering how they did it because it was solid underneath. So, I moved her hair that was on the bun to the side a bit, and I found that they shaped a piece of STYROFOAM SPONGE THINGY and shoved it underneath her hair then pulled the hair tightly over it.
So, if you wanted more ideas for her hair bump theres one.
