Than I bought Vista one day after work and I feel in love with it because it felt modern. But then you got the pop up for every fucking action you did in the Os. But I found a way to disable it, so it went actually good with me. Was a few crashes here and there, but I liked it. Then 7 came around and GODDAMN WHAT AN OS.

Back in the nineties I worked in an inhouse 'tech' support area for a major bank and the first question asked was 'have you tried turning it off an on again!' 🤣 Problem was people were having to use their computers without any real training. Best call we got was a Senior General manager (GM, God to us) ringing to say his 'cup holder' wasn't working. The poor tech spent over an hour trying to work out what was going on when he realised the GM was using the CD loader tray to sit his coffee cup on!....... Priceless!!!!!!

I had an orbital dynamics professor like the "support guy" character. Probably that's why I failed in that subject. He was from Switzerland and had that Swiss-french-german accent, a heavy one.

I'm a Windows user, but even in 2010, nobody used Vista for embedded hardware. Hell, most *home PC users* were already onto Windows 7 by then. No wonder he shat his pants hearing that.
