Something I noticed in the 3 Strikes LTM is that Lightning Rod could spawn with two of the four "hot drop" circles, one of which was on the high tower building and the second being central to the POI. I wonder if it's related to this change
Been dropping Rod since day 1 of stormpoint. Apart from being a generally good POI. But its the highest point on the map you can get anywhere from Rod sooooo FAST. Just SLIDE and start wrecking folk 👍🏽
This is a great video!!! Keep making these! I just wanted to point out that you called Pylon “broken” and Lightning Rod “the best,” but your video really demonstrated how Lightning Rod is the one that’s actually “broken.” I just would’ve said it differently. Keep it up man!
Pylon is still better. You have access to two ring consoles via prowler den. It also has a spawn and lacks sufficient loot to be landed in. Yeah it takes 20-30 seconds longer to get to than thunder watch but the quality of loot makes it worth it. Pylon is best for zone teams, lighting rod for edge teams.
There’s a POI on Broken Moon that spawns two beacons? It also gets a crafter but idk about ring consoles. It’s also edge. Why would it not be considered better than this poi? (Idk names don’t ask me what it’s called lol)
I don't want to assume that anybody watching these videos are coming in with a full understanding of Apex's systems. I know it's a bit uninteresting for those who already understand these mechanics and parts of the game, but I want to make sure that anybody who clicks on the video will be able to comprehend the final conclusion.
Bro ive been shouting lighting rod praise since day ONE of storm point 🤣 it is the absolute higest point on the map, always has good enough loot for the team, and almost every single battle from then on, you have the high ground already since you started at the top. Me and my buddy NEVER land anywhere except lightning rod, and we have never won so many games 😂
Solar array is one of my personal favs on olympus. Production yard and breaker wharf are pretty good on broken moon. For any ranked map tho just drop early (on console at least) cuz ppl usually dont hot drop so u can claim an early poi pretty much for urself
@@jckfrost36 yeah if you able to preshot fondry , beaker wharf , dry gluch , atmostation or prod yard while not being contested you have a good game start for sure, so many broken POI's on broken moon

I wanted to point out. that in broken moon you can get two recon becons at the same POI. its a change that happend this seaon as well

Also backup atmo on broken moon could have 2 player scans
so if lightening rod has two chances for a crafter, does that mean Hal will finally have light ammo?

I looked it up it’s Atmostation. It can have one beacon spawn on either side
