Love seeing both of you together and Zack having more screen presence on this one was great. You deserve the astonishing growth your channel is having, I think your the best farm life channel going!
Hi Jojo and Zack. I just discovered your videos and immediately liked them very much. I’ve always loved farming and spent many years on them here in South Florida. However,my job was probably one you would never see on your farm. I was a professional snake hunter, and I would make arrangements with the farmers to remove all the snakes that got in their equipment. Since this is in the Everglades region where the land in the middle of the state south of Lake Okeechobee is below sea level, irrigation presents a different challenge than it might where you are. With all the pumps , pump houses, watergates, and tractors etc, I always had plenty of work. I never charged them for this service because I earned my money from selling my catch. If you’ve ever watched a farmer putting new windings in an electric pump because snakes got in and burned it up when it ran, you’ll know why what I did was beneficial for the farmers. It was while doing this that I came to really appreciate how hard you farmers work ,and continue to do so in difficult times . I will always be a subscriber. Looking forward to your next video.😎👍👍👍
I have a 26 foot mower and I use a hand held stihl leaf blower. I bought a stihl 4 foot extension that are for cleaning eaves troughs. The extension gives you extra length to stay out of the dust. I use it on the combine to blow off straw and dust.

Coming from a fleet mechanics back ground you do things to take care of the mechanic that follows you. That said, a dab of never seize should go on every bolt during the re assemble process. Especially any high torque fastener application that wont come apart for long periods of time. Like lug nuts or any fastener that you know will cause you pain down the road. And you know. I really enjoy your videos and the both of you working together make up a un stoppable team.
Also have turned wrenches my entire life. One place I never put any lube or never seize... is wheel hardware. Hard no. Lose a wheel or dual, even in warranty, and you'll be denied for any claim if there is any evidence of such on the threads. Clean studs, clean lug nuts, proper torque/tighten technique is truly all you need. Any additive will put the system outside of the way it was designed to function. You may have gotten away with it, but that doesn't make it categorically sound advice.
@@wkendfrmr Ok, I understand your point and it makes sense. Your right I have gotten away with it. Perhaps I should re think that. Most of the farm equipment I worked on was out side the warranty. The truck fleet work we used never seize on nearly everything.
Well, today I'll be switching my subcompact tractor over from mowing mode to snow removal mode, then doing paperwork. I should have switched it over long ago, but it stayed so warm I thought I might need to mow once more. I may learn better one of these days.
Thanks for the video. It was great spontaneously meeting you just before new year at the gas station. Happy New Year and I look forward to what the future brings for all.
Thanks for sharing the video. Good seeing both of y'all in the video. Can't wait to see the new combine. I know it's not a Red one coming. I'm guessing a Fendt. Y'all are a great couple and I enjoy watching your channel.
Like you Jojo my mom was a city girl when my Dad met her. She was also a divorcée with a young son. She had a little bit of a time getting used to farm life. After she had me she had an even rougher time but Dad was patient with her and got her the help she needed. After Dad quit farming and bought several other businesses Mom became his right hand in almost all of them. They, like you guys were a grate team. I don’t think there is anything you cannot do Jojo, just like my Mom‼️💝
Appreciate you sharing life on your farm. Would a leaf blower help you to get the bulk of loose material off whatever you are cleaning ? I know it is my first tool to use when cleaning equipment.
Farming is lots of hard work I was raised on a farm, I know . In the 60,s Went in army. after graduation.got out after 10 years. Operated draglines 28 years. From Florida now living in south Alabama..I watch you farm A lot I enjoy your videos back growing up thankyou. George rushing4
It's funny how you mentioned you watching her do the work reminds of a man that lived just up the road from the house I grew up in. He had just a very small farm. It was he, his wife and three daughters. More than once I saw him driving the tractor getting up hay or straw while his wife was on the trailer and the girls would be picking up the bales. Since the girls were close to the same age as me not sure how he did it before they came along. Everybody around always felt sorry for the women in that family. There was plenty of young boys around here that would have helped. Either he didn't have the extra money or just to cheap to get them.
I’m guessing the new combine is a Lexion ? Jojo, I hear you on the cats, barn cats will destroy everything but the alternative is having mice and mice are worse lol, and you can’t make pets out of mice. The trick is to just have a few cats lol and have them all fixed 😂
Hi Jojo thanks for another awesome video. These videos are like you are there with you on your journey great viewing. Think the new combine is a Fendt,I'd just like to thank you both for all the hard work making the videos for us much appreciated hope you have a fantastic New year take care and stay safe 👍 😊.
You are one of the best! We enjoy your videos. My son and I look forward to each one. We have a much smaller farm, we are John Deere cab tractor people, just need to upgrade our Polaris ranger to one with a cab! Thank you
I'm biased, would love to see a New Gleaner S98 on the farm. The fuel savings alone would put a smile on your face, plus they are awesome combines for the money.
Hey sweetie! Next time you are washing down equipment just presoak the entire thing and the water loosens up the dirt and grime first. Start from one end and work your way down to presoak and by the time you are done you can start at the beginning and wash down everything from one end and it will be a lot easier to wash off. Do it in sections and you will be done in no time.
That small logo on the truck pulling the header looks yellow. I am guessing that is a new Holland dealer. Am I right? Alot of new Holland combines in my area in Saskatchewan Canada.
