The sinking of the Lusitania is definitely one of the most saddest and terrible tragedies of wartime😔. Thank you very much for creating such an incredible animation of the beautiful Lusitania, that’s truly some amazing work man! I love your video tributes and the work you put into them in honoring all this unforgettable oceanliners of the past 💙⚓️.
@@MassimoCalderaro-u8h That's right, except for one crucial detail you seem to miss: Even though the torpedoing of the Lusitania cannot be justified by any means, the german Kaiserreich did in fact deliver a warning per newspaper to not book a passage on the ship many days before her final voyage. Compare that to the sinking of the Wilhelm Gustloff through a soviet submarine, with no warning or whatsoever. More than 8000 civilians and refugees were killed in this tragedy! It is the biggest disaster in maritime history. Nearly every major nation has done horrible warcrimes in the past, but at least some have been a bit more honorable than others.
Such an amazing video! You captured almost every angle of the ship before and while she was sinking. She was beautiful, and such a painful loss. What an amazing video! You make such realistic vids of these beautiful ships. Thank you!
In 1941, Nazi aircraft sank the Soviet transport and ambulance ship "Armenia". On the night of November 6-7, 1941, the ship arrived from Sevastopol to Yalta. On board were the personnel of the Sevastopol Naval Hospital, warehouses with medical equipment, medical staff of the Nikolaev Naval Hospital, and thousands of refugees. The ship arrived at the Yalta port when the Germans had already occupied Alushta. The piers of Yalta were crowded with the wounded, doctors, nurses and orderlies. The city was on fire in several places, and explosions were heard. “Armenia” took a very long time to load. In Yalta, several hundred more passengers boarded. The ship sank in *four* minutes (!!!). During the Soviet period, the death toll was estimated at 5 thousand people. Nowadays, the number of victims is estimated at 7-10 thousand. *Only eight* managed to survive.
This is an amazing video. With a tinge of sadness. I love it. Can you do an animation of The R.M.S. Queen Mary as The S.S. POSEIDON from The POSEIDON Adventure from 1972? That would be cool in a way. I'm just asking. If you don't want to, I'll understand. Still....great work on this animation of The S.S. LUSITANIA . Please, Thank you and Bon Voyage!
same thing happened to "Britannic"... all portholes were open, water tight doors didn't close... and it still took it more than 50 minutes to sink... my point, best case scenario : is that Lusitania was a lousy ship! worst case scenario: the amount of secret weapons on the ship were enough to send it to kingdom come, with only one Torpedo! which means the British and American governments put the lives of their people at risk, and pretty much just as guilty as the Germans, they had the audacity to pin everything on Captain Turner!
Lusitania sure was lousy. My great great grandfather actually got to explore the Lusitania and help do repairs on her shortly before she left New York City for her final voyage and saw how many of her parts were in bad shape which knew made that ship a death trap. Shame on those who allowed the Lusitania to leave for her voyage so poorly repaired. It was fortunate that Captain Turner was eventually exonerated because it wasn’t all his fault that disaster happened.
Hello blue Star Line Channel My request is You people show the life of many ships like RMS Olympic Titanic and many other ships, this will give some knowledge to understand. Nice Video And Animation 😊❤️🙏 Thank You So Much 😊
This is why they shouldn’t party too early cuz in 1854 the arctic sank and they partied as it sank and how their oats were very safe but look at this it sank in 18 mins
So detailed, it looked like a Ken Marschall painting coming to life just to sink 😎 .... Now give us the whole 18 minutes w some interior shots being flooded, maybe going as far as showing the elevator that got stuck between decks....
@@Blue-Star-Line why wait? You've got some nice comments on this below, & to hell w those that left.... They're missing out. So, time to find new peeps 😎
The german just shoot a Ocean liner with thousand of innocent people on board the ship, the german do really cruel sink that ship just because of munitions on board the ship
So the stern did not rise as in the 2023 animation? Why is that? The fourth chimney would not have to steam out as 2 boilers were closed and its speed decreased. Still great work.
Great job man!

Not even the saddest because the whole world was angry at Germany for killing innocents.

@@PhantomHero98 Yeah, well nobody knew if the attack on the Wilhelm Gustloff was a war crime or not.
@@PhantomHero98 I'm saying is that the incident of the Lusitania is not as the saddest because the whole world was angry at Germany.
It's one of the reasons America went to war against the Central Powers.

1:37 The sound of a second explosion.
It’s terrifying just how quickly she sank. I couldn’t imagine being in the lower parts trying to rush out of there in less than 5 minutes
Well, the animation is 5 minutes. Lusitania really sank in 18.

Why the funnels did not fall on the water while sinking
They didn't fall because as lusitania sank the funnels were angled further over to the point where the the stress exceeded
