Absolutely superb! Growing up in California, this history all seemed a world away and now having been in Britain for half my life, more recently near Southampton, it's wonderful to be so close to the descendants of those who were blessed to be aboard grand vessels such as RMS Lusitania, apart from her final voyage. Having a starboard boat deck window from Lusitania, I can assure you, her ornamentation was as glorious as you portray. These videos open us up to a world long bygone, but upon sharing with younger generations today, they fall in love with it again and pass it along to the next generation. Thank you so much for sharing this with all of us and please keep up the gorgeous work.

A little ditty for the first few bars of the Lusitania Intermezzo that starts at 3:14
Sailing 'cross the ocean at a hurried clip
Sailing 'cross the ocean on this mighty ship
Sailing 'cross the ocean in the Cunard way,
In the finest luxury and style, wouldn't you say?
See the four red funnels that are topped with black?
Steaming towards horizons, there's no turning back.
    She's the grandest ocean liner
    With no others like her
She can only be the LUSITANIA

Ahh yes another moment of this fine liner indeed, i love her dearly to my heart and with every view of this ship is just overwhelmingly stunning, I love the lucy knowing she has been through tough times and sadly meeting her deadline.

This animation is such a superb masterpiece...it really makes possible to live history...the best moment for me is at 2:02.
The ship departing accompanied by her "greyhound march" it feels like being able to be on a small boat watching this grandious liner depart .
    And the nightshots at
4:20 it really brings lusitania's dream back on great job man

I have studied ships all of my life and way back before 1997 never thought I would see a 4 funnel liner in colour, James Cameron changed that, and thanks to some amazing work I can see what they must have looked like in their glory days. Thanks for your work on the Lusie, my only gripe is that in some night shots her bridge interior has the lights on. That would not have been good practise on any ship at night. Keep up the good work, I am waiting for an Aquitania 🙂

From September 1907 to December 1914, Lusitania made 194 crossings and carried a total of 240,959 passengers, for an average of 1,242 passengers per crossing.
Her best year was 1911, when she carried 41,500 passengers over 32 crossings, averaging 1,297 passengers per crossing.
She was also the most popular ship on the Atlantic in the years of 1908, 1909, 1911 and 1914.

If with 1 torpedo hit it sank the Lusitania in 18 minutes, imagine if the German submarine had had more torpedoes and instead of launching 1 they launched 2, managing to hit the Lusitania, it was lucky that the torpedo did not hit where the ammunition was because it could breaking the bow, what caused the rapid sinking was the impact where the longitudinal watertight bulkheads used as coal deposits were located, causing the enormous list to starboard of the ship

    🇺🇸😁WONDERFUL VIDEO OF RMS LUSITANIA‼️👍
Here is an interesting history fact, where was RMS LUSITANIA during the sinking
of the RMS TITANIC on April 15th 1912? And here is the answer, RMS LUSITANIA arrived in Liverpool on March 26, 1912 and did not depart again until April 27th. When RMS LUSITANIA departed again, there were lifeboats for all, but not davits. About 3 years later and after the 3rd anniversary of the TITANIC DISASTER, the great Cunard Liner RMS LUSITANIA was going to suffer the same fate! Today as of Fall 2023, both RMS TITANIC and RMS LUSITANIA still share their place together in our hearts and souls, forever.🙏
