If seasons is active the grass will change in hay over time, but in this instance the grass schould be tedded to become hay. I think it is a good idea because hay is double the money in comparison to grass.
In terms of in game the quicker he gets in money the quicker he can get different equipment to make money in different ways it faster ways by better equipment. In terms of real life for us it's nothing because it's a time lapse for him traveling at 7 mph with that big of area would take a fairly long time

Loving this series... Definitely recommend you go for the homemade silage pit... 3 times more money for just waiting for overnight fermentation.. This is my fave map out there ATM.. been on it for a month myself and built up nicely with a few plots now and a good logging/farm split.

In modhub, under farm buildings, there is a mod called "small wood selling station" by TopAce888. The building is priced at 5000, but the mod also contains a sell trigger for 50. This will double the price you are getting for your logs at the chipper, and you can place it anywhere on the land you own. If you decide to use this mod, it will help you greatly.

@@cameronshelgren1765 the thing is you can't get loans and you start with 0 so I imagine you'd buy more essential farming tools rather than even greenhouses when you grind them woodchips. cheap tools and a lot of hard work to progress to better tools and easier work. definitely some achievement in that.

Fun series daggers. Consider "fixing up" the old busted windmill. It'll cost a fair bit but will provide a tidy little passive income afterward. Take some of the stress off and help with new machines in the future. Anyway, great job bud. Cheers

Great tips here. You can buy placeables to help you with money - the Dev put them in. You can buy a sawmill to sell logs instead of wood chips. Instead of a sawmill there is wood selling point mods.
I stopped watching your videos since you stopped the multiplayer servers but this series has me hooked and watching again.I wish you would do it twice a week or have chainsaw come on a road trip out there to help you on the farm one day.I love the series due to the challenges of money but once you do buy a combine things will be alot better.Untill then its grass work and prob more trees to cut down.

Dagwin the tractor u just bought us not the best I've had problems I.E. doesn't go up a tiny slope and the tires don't rlly make a difference, but i know your limited to what u spend, if you could maybe up the horse power in the later videos that would be good. I do love the tractor ( new one ) but the power is a bit off and there's other annoying things about it. I use it on sandy bay and I can't get it up the little hill by the cow pasture at the main farm, also by the shed! Keep this series up and keep it great content and also the other episodes and series 😀
Regarding renting, Maybe only use it to test machinery to make sure things work together (think of it as a paid dealer demo) if all is good after a short test then buy Also only just found your videos and really liking them ps, Audio was still fine

Hi Mate, just found your channel recently and loving it. Just a bit of an idea for you in terms of your audio concern. If your mixer allows you can run a audio compressor over the game sound input, if it’s got the capability you can run what’s known as a side chain, what this does is when you speak as part of your presenting you voice input signal triggers the compressor. It’s sometimes known as ducking, the idea being it ducks the game track to make space for your voice, which should make it clearer and you not a need to worry about it. Need some tweaking to make it not sound like drastic process, but with a bit of playing it should help out. Just an idea - looking forward to FS22 videos coming soon!

If I was you I would buy the homemade silage pit and then put the loader on the furguson and attach the bucket you bought a while ago and scoop up the silage and put it into the small trailer and sell it

Daggerwin, I made my own version of a start from scratch no mans land and recorded it, and it is very hard!
it is, I tried it also but I think with the right approach it can be done without a lot of pain and suffering. some mods are just must have.

I think you would be better of buying a iforwilliams trailer after the fiat you can lower the sides voor pallets and wood and it has a ramp👍🏻

Great video Daggerwin! Silage pit is either 7 or 8k, depending if you want the small or medium one.
Just a wee tip of nice you’ve done your headland whilst raking if you rake the inside one out a bit it will make coming out of the row easier

Use the filling silo at the store (near sell point) to save money when filling seeds or fertilizer.
