For my personal preference - I don't mind watching you guys do contracts with a specific end in mind, such as the sprint here towards the field. It lets us see fields you may never buy, you've already invested in the equipment, and it's all in the name of being able to do it for yourselves. I'm not terribly worried about this becoming 'man watches farmer watching his farmhand' in general; and we sat through plenty of your logging on Korpi, which IMO was significantly more repetitive than cultivating new fields for the first time.
Before the best price the only thing left for harvesting would be Corn, Sunflowers or other Soybeans and only so in November. Unless they buy a new header in November there aint gonna be no harvesting contracts and Soybeans contracts could just be filled up again into the existing load.
i find it strange that they don't even think about using/purchasing a silo (above/below ground) until several episodes later. some of them are quite cheap
Thank god you didnt sell it, as far I can tell the combine is not full and it has an 8000l capacity. Soybeans are at 1900 per 1000l rounded up, at that price and assuming the combine is full youd have made 15200 from it, you lost 15296 with the bales you sold, so you would have made less from the field than you lost from the bales.
2 vs 2 green vs purple yes exactly i think that would be interesting. although in that scenario, they problebly need to use a seperate hosting server. we can see in some of the videos dag/chain randomly getting disconnected nearly every video
I'll be a bit harsh here and say: in the time of whinging and procrastinating about what to do: you could have done two contracts. Don't think solely about the entertainment, a little bit of repetitiveness is to be expected in the early stage... and definitely in a game like this.
Whoo! More Survival Challenge Videos. Keep 'em comin' Still no luck for the poor sapling sitting alone at the dealers. I wish you would give him a good home. Maybe just put him somewhere on the farm to hang out?
I'm so happy you and chainsaw did manage to buy that field because it really was worth the many contracts and selling some productions I agree store the soya beans until the price is the highest and sell them then I was thinking that new field is a decent size actually what if at some point down the series you and chainsaw buy the field next door on the right and remove that track and join them both together and make one huge field that would really be very profitable
i was just thinking of silos as well. i know that a harvestor is important. just in my opinion, it's kinda embarassing to harvest with no where to put it. although in real life, i guess that kinda makes me a hypocrit. My wife and I cut some dead trees. Sure now we have plenty of firewood. At the same time, its irritating day by day seeing part of our yard unusable and no money to have someone hall them away.

@@wedgetailleather planting cotton would not be a good idea at the moment. i've played fs19, fs22 and cotton harvesters are expensive. mods are not as extensive since fs25 has been released nearly 2 months ago.
Mr. Sealyp does a lot of contracts to make money "honestly". To keep it from being repetitive, he will just show screenshot of the contract complete screen as "proof". You could a ton of contracts and just show the completed screen to keep the video shorter
I dont know why this community in the comments is so negative and toxic about every decision Dagerwin takes. Like dude, it's just a farming game, you can play it whatever way you want. Keep up the good videos!
Feels dumb that we hear episode after episode that the best is to wait to sell in January the woodchip, even in this episode it is mentioned and agreed 4 times, then you sell some of it (cc 1/3) in October.
Hi Daggerwin. Completely random one for you. The song that played whilst you were doing the contract in the 2 fields for cultivating, by any chance I’d this from GeoWizards channel? Just sounds so like some of the music he produces for his adventures and I was wondering if there was a bit of a crossover from 2 of my favourite TH-cam channels
gday daggerwin, not sure if you know this but if you put on a weight with a pin attachment on the back of ur tractor, some attachments you can hook onto the weight and work at full pace instead of the speed it allows, if you understand what im saying?
for my personal privacy of playing farming Simulator 2025 I've been fully stocking up my wood planks and crops in massive silo's and banking enough extra cash in my game playing on my Xbox One system with a Logitech racing wheel setup plus using my controller just started growing Soybeans, corn, wheat, barley fields sunflowers potatoes fields canola cotton grapes olives red beet's peas green beans. ive bought 500 chickens 1,500 cows 1,200 pigs 650 sheep
Man I'm not always of the decisions you make (like the rice paddy used for watering greenhouses and animals like why?), but I generally just say "you do you Daggerwin", but the decision to sell the woodchip bales for almost half the best price instead of waiting to sell them in January and then buying the field is baffling to me. You could have waited and got ~$30k more for the bales that you sold early and planted oat or something in the field then turned around and planted wheat, barley or canola after. The early sell of the bales just made absolutely no sense....
Daggerwin great video yes you have to do lots of contracts to get progress stop whining about having to do contracts and whining they are repetitive this is the type of series you need to use them to make money for now. In farming there can be repetitive tasks thats farming nothing wrong with it
why do you not use cours play instead of the ai? is it because it is not compatible with multiplayer? humm you dont use it in single player either soo yeah i was just wondering
not convinced it was right choice to sell the bales to buy a field with a crop that wouldn't make enough to cover the loss on the bales but you can't always keep stuff till the best price if you want to grow the farm and as you said doing contracts all the time will eventually get boring not only for viewers but for the two of you too, i say sell stuff when you need cash to grow and forget about saving for the best price or the series will become stagnant.
Agree, but what did we get out of it? A 2 minute end segment of the video rushing in the harvest - could have waited just one more episode, going through nov and dec quickly, sell the bales in January with a plowed field and be at the same position. At least by not selling it at a horrendous price some money will come back in in summer.
For my personal preference - I don't mind watching you guys do contracts with a specific end in mind, such as the sprint here towards the field. I agree. It’s the playing in the same few fields that gets burning. Please explore the map guys.
Glad you managed to buy it in the end! You have a bucket so you could groundstore it somewhere, not ideal but lets you do harvest contracts at least!
Before the best price the only thing left for harvesting would be Corn, Sunflowers or other Soybeans and only so in November. Unless they buy a new header in November there aint gonna be no harvesting contracts and Soybeans contracts could just be filled up again into the existing load.

You don't need to worry about getting a field before it gets harvested because they will just replant it.

Waiting for the last minute to sell as few bales as possible for the field was definitely the right move

Can't you store the soybeans in the silo at the trainstation for free? Then you can also just sell it from there easily in June.

You should take a loan on land. It would be a mortgage and help you accelerate the series
There was a contract of $ 24.000 why didn't you take it!?!🤯... Rent the equipment put a worker on it... You still will make more than 17K !!
