This is making me fall in love with Mazda again ❤
Just bought the 2023 Carbon Edition Sedan. You are very correct in stating that you get a premium feel without paying a premium price. I love it! Thank you for sharing the video.
Great car! I have one and I love it.
Own a 2023 Mazda 3 Carbon Edition sedan. Absolutely in love with everything about it.
Currently renting one (sedan version) and the seats are thin BUT in a sporty kind of way. I’m 6’2 235 and I got super comfortable in that car. I would buy one 100% if I was in the market for a new car
I love this car very much, it is very beautiful and wonderful, and we love your successful channel, which is distinguished for cars, Ben. Thank you, and we love and appreciate you!?*
The 2023-2024 Mazda 3 Hatchback is the absolute top of the market
I just got a carbon. I absoluetely love it.
Insane Mazda Ben !! ❤❤
Did they remove the trunk release button on the key fob?
ay my man try a circular polarizer filter for your camera to eliminate glare
I'd like to see the sedan version of the M3 with a Turbo. And I believe if you get an M3 with the new 10 inch infotainment screen it's touch when in park.
No it is touch only when using Google or Android play. So only for music
No touchscreen is best. Touch screen iPads glued into dashboards is top 5 worst “innovations” in vehicle technology right along with auto stop/start, CVTs and 3 cylinder engines in 4000lb cars…
But you can't reach it from the driver position. It's still too far away for my fingers sooooo why do people want to touch it?
Stop calling it an M3…
They're kind of hard to find! I initially looked for one but liked the hatch better.
Does it come with a spare tire, or the dreaded fix-a-flat?
The Mazda3 Hatchback Carbon no longer has Bose speakers?
Is this vehicle comfortable for long travels ?
I would’ve expected them to switch out the piano black trim on the center console, it scratches just by looking at it
I love hatchbacks and that is a strong choice specially for that price❤
Does it come in a manual?
Why do most reviewers only review the higher and expensive trim options.
There are lots more people out there considering to buy the base trim options and want to know about it.
To be fair this is the only the 3rd of 6 options.
Plus dealerships want to sell the more expensive cars, that's why
I love Mazda's...
Thats a great vehicle
Needs Homelink, backup sensors, key fob remote start and electric hatch release. Pretty solid vehicle otherwise. (Current owner)
Usually when mazda releases carbon edition ... they are getting ready for a redesign ?
love a New Mazda 3 instead of the old one
Is rare because the model 2024 has a new 10.25 touch screen
Ben, always great reviews, however could you slow down a little in everything… Really hard to follow the details when reviewing so fast…
He mention in his twitter when he uploaded video . That he had the runs . Think he ate some Taco Bell or something like that , and needed to 💩.. like bad
いいですね!
MAZDA3かっこいい!
Looks exactly like my 2019 :(
Mazda 3 manual please?
What economy car is 30k!?
I’m going to get this car for my first car
I remember the 2024 Mazda 3 had a touch screen?
I've always wanted a Mazda 3. However the first time I ever went to a Mazda dealership, I felt intimidated and belittled. I didn't have a great experience.
looks nice but not a fan of the little screen.
I've had the 23 for almost a year. I'm a small guy and the seats are noticeably smaller than the civic and Corolla. The cup holder placement is horrible. And the controls for the entertainment system are not the best, neither is Bluetooth. I would have got the Corolla or Civic having known this. Other than that this is a great car. I love the looks, only seen 1 other in almost a year of ownership. It is slow but gets me 35.2 mpg. Sport mode is faster but you sacrifice mpg's. The Bose system is insane, sounds so good crisp and clear. You get amazing bass, mids and highs. The arm rest feels cheap and empty if you push in on it. But the car really does have that luxury feel for the price point. Still debating on trading it, I might be disappointed if I do even with all the negatives. It is fun to drive in the back roads in the S curves with sport mode on.
@het_flix What trim do you have?
Too small for me too lol great reviews but when i got in one im like NO im only 5’10 btw
Keep it and enjoy the curves.😊
Cool video of the new Mazda 3 2024. Are you doing a video of the Sedan (2024 model) as well?
They come in fall 2023
I want to see the sedan too!
i love my 2018 mazda 3 hatchback and the only things i dont like about it is the road noise and i can feel every little bump on the road.
id buy it again but now they went way up in price.
Compared to my 2007 Corolla, the cabin is far more quiet in the Mazda 3. The suspension is tighter and so you will feel a bit more of the bumps, but its also more performance driven so the handling is tighter. There's always a tradeoff.
So I have this same car but mine is a 2023 year, hatchback and is the same trim. What's the difference?
I don’t believe anything “standard” is different but there are available upgrades like a bigger screen, different color interior & exterior etc…
do you recommend it after owning the 2023 Mazda 3? Is it fun to drive? steering feel too heavy?
@@braetonwilson4296it’s a pleasure to drive. Not sports car but feels like a cruising grand tourer , and steering is perfect for high speeds, you’ll get used to it in no time
@@jkdoodle4460 thanks!
@@braetonwilson4296 Definitely fun to drive, I love the compact-ness of it because it reminds me of my old 2010 Scion Tc (my previous car). I love the traditional 6-speed automatic. The steering, is however on the slower side but that gives it a “luxury” feel but I wouldn’t say it’s HEAVY. But yeah ask me any other questions man i think it’s a fantastic car especially if it’s just to drive 1-2 people around, it’s usually just me and my girl
Audi A3 or Mazda 3? Which is better?
The Mazda 3 completely loaded out is just under $40k. The barebones no option A3 is almost the exact same price. So, it just depends on what you want, a stripped down German car that has high upkeep and maintenance costs - or a loaded Japanese car that will likely need nothing but oil and tires for 100k miles
I thought the screen was bigger in the 2024 models?
only on the premium plus trim
Up from 8.8 to 10.25
4:05 is it 10.3 inches?
Only on the premium plus trim
Why won't Mazda make a hybrid for this vehicle?
Because they’re waiting for their hybrid tech to mature first. This isn’t Toyota who puts new untested powertrains into circulation
Zoom Zoom !
2k more for what exactly...looks identical to the previous years
Nissan Versa is almost half the price
I could deal with the front end but it's not my faverite front end, I would of liked to see a automatic hatch VS a Manuel rear hatch
The only comparable car that looks as good is the Civic, and that’s down to taste
@@TheDiameter don't like Honda
Front end is sexy af lol
It's not $30,000, stop with the click bait titles.
Loved everything but the Battleship Grey and the Interior Color 🤮. C’mon Mazda want Black! Did you mention that the Carbon Edition is AWD?
Put a turbo in it and give the GTI some competition.
I heard the steering feel is way too heavy on Mazdas. You have to struggle to turn the wheel and it's unpleasant. Is that true?
Whoever said that is weak😆🫣
@@BenHardyCars lol glad to know that's not true then amigo!
@@BenHardyCars how would you compare the comfort of this to cars like a honda accord or a kia k5
Both are extremely underpowered by comparison
@@natedog2966I'd say the Mazda has the most refined feel to it. I had a Kia K5 GT-Line AWD until it was totaled. Mazda 3 was too small for me but it has the best "feel" to it overall. No AWD in the Accord but 192HP + turbo is decent, although CVT. Mazda 3 is 191HP naturally aspirated but available 250HP with AWD, Kia K5 180HP + turbo. Loved the Kia, seats were great and tons of leg room but had more plastic in the interior than the other two. Also can't get the Bose speakers in the GT-Line AWD trim (no idea why)
I don’t see any difference I have a 2023 hatch and is the same thing.
All the differences are optional
Is the 2024 Mazda3 Hatchback made in Mexico?
Japan
@@flips220 I found this out later from looking up VIN numbers that it's Salamonca Mexico 😞. I'm cool with if the quality control is the same.
It is@@Peter-gb4ey
The Mazda3 sedan is made in Mexico. The hatchback is made in Japan.
Definitely stay with the ones made in Japan.
now if they would let you get the 12 inch infotainment on the non turbo 3 T_T
Take the 2019 mazda3 and slap a 2024 on it.. same car 💀 was honestly waiting to see what would be new before I made my choice between this and the civic
Eh not really, like at all. The turbocharged 2.5L wasn’t even available until 2021, and the list of standard features on a base 2023/24 rival what the 2019 top trim model offered with all the options. Not to mention the current N/A 2.5 makes more power and gets better fuel economy than any of the 2019 powertrains. It’s a big difference, and in the hatchback the 3 is a clear winner over any civic not sporting an R badge.
I do not know what to say, the design is morally worn out. Most of the Mazda 3s I have seen on the roads are driven by young people and this is a bit pity because Mazda 3 was people's car. I personally drove the 2008 model which was cool. I just say it must be revamped inside and out.
Gli is a better choice
Big issues with Mazda 3 2024 in Europe. See video: th-cam.com/users/shortspIwG159QnH4?feature=share
The only Mazda 3 to be made in Japan. Very nice.
All Mazda 3 are made in Japan
@@TheDiameter All Mazda 3 in North America are made in Mexico except the hatchback. A salesman from a local dealer told me this.
@@kevtn8Well that salesman is an idiot because I have a window sticker on the table in front of me that says produced and assembled in Japan with 85% Japanese parts. You don’t need a salesman to read a window sticker for you. Go to a Mazda dealer and read for yourself.
@@TheDiameterimagine being that stupidly ignorant 🤡
@@kevtn8😂
If It had a touch screen instead of the dumb knob where you have to control everything lol
Why in the hell would you want a sluggish iPad with no tactile feedback over the smooth knob system that keeps your eyes on the road and screen clean? Big screens glued to the dash are likely the worst interior design“innovation” of the past 15 years.
A $30k Mazda 3?? The world's gone insane
Almost like it's not 2005 anymore. Better not look at the 30k Corolla and Civic either, might be too much of a sticker shock. Or the 50k Ford Ranger.
Clearly you don’t know the market
Lmao corolla loaded like this is about 50 to 60k
The top line turbo with all wheel drive is abt $38,000 with all options. To put in perspective, we are looking at promaster city vans for work ( compact cargo van) . Small 4 cylinder with like 130 ish hp, front drive, hardly any tech, two cloth seats and an empty shell behind. Stickers for $38, 000.
Im in Puerto Rico today i was in a mazda dealer here its 41k believe it or not
Still looks like the exterior was made from 2006
After dealer mark up, taxes and financing...$38k! For THAT little shitbox?? No freaking way. Its a sweet 16 birthday present at best!😖
And tell us Dale Jr. Wtf car do you drive? And what car with the features and power this one has is cheaper than a 31k price? Take your bullshit elsewhere.
If it aint a stick shift with a turboski your wastin my time. LAME!!
Then go watch that video. Wtf are you doing watching a video for a car you dont care for? Just because it aint to your liking doesnt mean its a lame car. Gtfo of here already.
