Bloody brilliant!!!!! Another modeller used fishing wire !!!! Not long term supporting and the use of. ‘Metal ‘rods are definitely a much better idea and much easier than the other modellers post , far , far to complicated and once again , metal rod is definitely a fantastic idea, thankyou!
I'm near the end of building this model, and the way I struggled with the assembling the original wheels tells me "don't try this". Looks fantastic, great job.
Thank you for these incredibly accurate videos! I couldn't get the metal wires and the aluminum tube... so I used sewing pins with their heads that I bent, and for the small nut towards the rim: from the network or telephone wire sheath. It doesn't hurt either. Congratulations again, you guided me.
I was building a 1:9 Protar provini matchless 500cc years ago and accidentally pushed my thumb through the front wheel breaking every spoke. I had to use legs from resistors to rebuild it. I still have it 30 years later
Great approach! But how do you eliminate the seam in the middle of the rim? It would be wicked hard to sand it with the spokes already in place… I have tried on a 1/6 scale bike, which is a bigger rim, so easier, but it took me an insane amount of time. Just curious!

Thank you for your comment.
I leave the seam on the rim as is.
good morning please where can I buy the rods and tubes for the spokes on the Internet. Thank you
wow!
I’d like to see how to do 80 spoke rimes.
Where do you think is possible to find the 0.8x0.4 steel tubing you show at minute 2:49. I live in EU (Ireland). Thanks.
Product links can be found in the video description section.
@@kotascalemodel Sorry! Many thanks!
Does anyone make 1/10 scale wire wheels for model cars? Please reply with leads.
Wow 🫡🇺🇸
How many millimeters are the two kinds of thin tubes?
Its on the video description: 0.3mm stainless wire & 0.8mm aluminum pipe, plus a link to a store that sells them.
what is that glue you used?
It is "CEMEDINE Instant Adhesive".
Added the product link to the video description.
