やりたくても長年踏襲したままだったスポーク交換。この方法なら、取っ付き易さから試してみたくなったです。proterのNorton
manx で試みようと考え、高価なもので手元に置いたままでしたが、勇気が湧きました。一歩が踏み出せれば色々と道が見えて来るかも知れない。教えて頂き有難うございました。

大量生産であるプラモデルの宿命ともいうべき実際の縮尺に出来ない部分がリアリティを薄れさせる原因なんですよねー。スポーク手作りとは恐れ入りました。

溝切りは目立てヤスリやレザーソウを使うともっと細い溝が切れるよ。
ニップルもコンマ8では太過ぎる、コンマ6位にしたいね～。

30年以上前？バンダイ1/12 DT125キットを張り替えました。
当時モデルアート誌に、同じ手法で掲載されていたのでトライしてみました。
ニップルはユニオン？のバイク模型のパイプを金色に塗って再現。真鍮パイプの方が、リアルかつ経年変化で渋みが増すかも。紙面には、「エレキギターのニ弦」とあったのを真に受けて実行したら、錆止めしなかったため黒く変色してしまいました。
賢い方法！
Now I have to do this when building motorcycle models. Wonder if it's possible to do a higher spoke count. There are motorcycles with 80 and 120 spoke rims. I got to give it a try.
この構造のホイール昔からあるけど 考えた人も凄いよな 車とかもこのホイールあるし
0.3㎜とか0.5㎜とか・・・老眼の自分にはとてもじゃないが、タダの苦行です。
リタイアして時間が取れる様になったら楽しもうと思って 旧車やバイクのプラモを少しずつ集めてますが、はたして造れるだろうか？
本当こうゆうの見ちゃうと自分の作る模型が小学生の工作に感じてしまって挫折しますわ
アルミパイプにピアノ線通した状態でカットすれば楽に綺麗。

作業を拝見させて頂き作りかけで眠っていた
キットをまた机に広げています。スポークの
組み付けは単純なようで複雑ですね。
自分の実車を観察してCADで描いてようやく理解できました。スポークは40本でした。
しかし実際に作業して投稿者様のスキルがどれほどのものか思い知らされました。
頑張って少しでも近づけることができればと思います。

For a 1/6 scale bike (Tamiya Honda CB750 Racing Type) would you suggest 0.6mm stainless wire & 1.6mm aluminum pipe or would that be a bit over-scale?

こんにちは、参考にさせていただきました。カワサキＫＨ４００作ってます。溝掘りもコツさえ掴めば簡単でした。スポークの根元のニップルが難しかったです。微妙な長さの違いが目立つのと角度があるのでよーく見ると隙間がわかっちゃうんですよね。まあ遠目にはわからないので(笑)

素晴らしいテクニックですね！すごいです。是非チャレンジしてみたいと思います。一つ質問なのですがスポークなどのメッキ部分をカットすると当然メッキも剥がれると思うのですが、跡をなにか処理していますか？

あまりにも目立つときは、メッキペンなどでタッチアップしていますが、基本的には何もしません。
遠目で目立たなければ良しとしてます。

ハブに開ける穴の位置の決め方がよく分かりません。
コメントありがとうございます。穴の位置はキットによってわかりずらいため、私は1本目の穴を大体の位置で決めてから、スポークの本数分を均等ピッチで穴開けしてます。

Yes, but the wire you used is too thin ! AND you'd be better making the nipples longer so that they can be glued in the rim, then bend the spoke over = much stronger.
