man this is some good insight on how to be a more efficient squad leader. really like how you keep comms going and use the markers as directions like that. going to be emulating that more as I play.

That’s a very odd connection to make.. lol those emblems are very popular used to locate opposing sides during combat footage, the Ukraine war is a LARGE exception to that, using the different side’s flag.

bull dog is such an underrated vehicle my buddy and i will run these kinds of vehicls and often times have more fun in them than the LAV, MBT and all the other "overpowered" vehicles. embed yourself in with a competent infantry squad and u will almost always win the battle

Thank you for making this video. I love leading soldiers and I really feel accomplished when I’m complimented at the end of a match for how immersive I helped the experience be. When I see my squad fill up fast, I know it’s because I’ve built a decent reputation.
I've been watching your Squad content for a few weeks now, mostly the eye in the sky. I'd love to see more squad lead and maybe commander role content in the future. I love how you handled playing an SL and as a new Squad player, you're an excellent example of what an SL should probably be. Shoutout to your squaddies as well for being on top of things.
I tried this on ODM since the AAV was the only Vic at main and the rest were already being used. They banned me. Idk why they hate mech inf. I was just moving my squad to the point
Im also banned from ODM for crashing a heli at the end of a round (they were capping our main(1st) objective, and score was 3 tickets left)
ODM HAS MADE A FOOL OF THEMSELVES AND IS ALWASY ON BOTTOM ON LIST LMAO
They still have me listed as Toxic Crew SL everytime I try to join.

Squad leading is my favourite aspect of the game! And almost all my hours in Squad as well as post scriptum are in that role! My mentality was heavily influenced by groups such as ShackTac, and their motto of "serious fun" and I think squad is a prime example of a game that needs it. Its a game, its meant to be fun and enjoyed, but due to its nature let's try and work as a unit and do some basic fire & manouver, frontal assaults under a base of fire, and general sense of teamwork to allow the emphasis on fun to be truly enjoyed. Excellent video and your opening monolog on what it means to be a video game squad leader hit the nail on the head!

Something that would make squad like 85 percent more playable for me is if the friendly name tags were able to show up ALOT sooner and be visible even if it’s not in your direct crosshairs. I kill like 10 friendly every game. I don’t have time to learn the clothing
And even if I did learn the clothing I can’t tell the difference fast enough. So I have switched to hell let loose primarily. Almost solely because you can almost always see friendly name tags and it makes it so much easier to see who is where and what is happening
Yeah it'a big issue. I just tk and say outlout "Blame the devs". The argument that it's realistic is bs as so many aspects of the game are not realistic at all. TK is just part of the game. Just like the devs intented it to be.

blue on blue is an important thing to avoid in real combat,you have to actually figure out who is who,theres no reason to change it, especially when theres a lot more problems that actually have an effect on enjoyment

Anyone can be a squad leader, my first few games were spent finding out the game and leading a squad to pure and utter defeat, I couldn’t place a radio or a fob. Didn’t know the buttons. So forth😂 but a good squad will help you succeed, don’t think your the absolute commander take opinions and ask your squad questions anything. Their experienced….
I'd like to formally request a new set of new player guides, I think new people assume the older ones are out dated and don't watch them. I'm sick of spending most games as SL making up fir the lack of habs.

I haven't tried a lot of squad leading myself. But when i did i face the the problem that i just can't hear anything when command and squad channels are both talking at the same time.

Why? Russians can't speak English so why should they be able to hear the voice chat? Maybe if they used some sort of voice scrambler to make what your saying sound like gibberish.
