My dad was raised by my grandma by herself nd he turned out great without no man in the home met my mom had me my sisters Nd brother even took care of my older brothers too even tho they put him thro shit but he took care of the home all before he died so I do give a lot of single moms credit for raising up boys even if the dad is in the pic or not

My father died when my brother was 9 of an aneurysm. My brother found him and called the ambulance. Soon after he began to act up. And was in and out of jail for 10 years. I am proud to say now he owns his own barbershop and and doing very well. I am proud of him for finally getting it right, and my Mother who carried on the torch after my dad. Be blessed everybody. ❤️

I was born and raised on the gritty streets of Paterson New Jersey I was blessed and fortunate enough to get me and my kids outta Paterson away from Jersey but I’ve lost so many childhood friends and close people to gun violence and quiet smart well behaved kids I’ve went to school with from good families turned out to killers gun toting gang members etc so the upbringing or parent is not always to blame some people are just rotten all on their own.

My Mother raised 5 sons after my Father (a county cop at the time)ran off for some floozy ass ho!
My Momma didn't raise no fools. We were far from privledged! We didn't collect welfare and food stamps. My 3 older Bros dropped out of school at different times, about age 14. We moved so often it wasn't like truant officers were gonna catch up. That was late 60's- early 70's. I was the only one that graduated from high school. I promised my Momma I would. I didn't get inked-up and all that stupid shit. Another thing too. I was born in D.C.(aka known as Dodge City)it wasn't the what I'd call safe then or even today. My Mom didn't raise no hateful white boys either. She said God made us that way, different colors but the same inside. As far as we knew? The only color of everyone was CLEAR on the outside & flesh & blood on the inside! We all have a heart and that's what matters most. I'm a retired combat veteran, btw. And I served with some of the bravest and courageous folks I call my family of brothers & sisters! White, black, asian, hispanic, etc? I despise racists & haters! But until they realize the hatred they support? All I can do is do what I grew up and know that's true. We were also raised to worship & fear God receive Jesus Christ as our Savior. It doesn't look like many are raised with that in their hearts today? They worship rappers & other enterainment idols? Video games, gang loyalty, but no loyalty for God? It seems like our world is flooded over with hypocrites? They distract people with pure garbage and insight violence instead?
That's my opinion & as my Mother warned us when we were 4 & 5 years old : "
