When you mentioned that there is a lot of Proton Cars in Malaysia, you made it sounds Like Proton was producing in other country. Proton is Malaysian based car producing company. The words proton comes from "perusahaan otomobil Nasional. Or literally translate to the National automobil company.and awek have the second automobil company called Perodua. Dua means second.
I’ve seen protons in other countries, very rarely tho. I never knew they were from Malaysia!
@@josh.onthemove Yes, Proton had been export globally, you Can also pay a visit t Proton place to learn more about it.maybe to proton's factory or proton's sales office.
@@josh.onthemove 48 hours in Malaysia are not enough, maybe you Can plan a road trip around Malaysia for Like 2 months.there are lots for you to see and lots that we Can offer.
@@AidawatiRamly I'd like to that at some point, this trip it wasn't possible
Get yourself over to Bangsar Telawi, very different area from KLCC and much more low rise. Can take LRT or Grab. Also check out Lake Garden for a nice morning walk
Thanks will do
the reason that things is more expensive in malaysia compare to vietnam, and bangkok because of we have strong currency between them,

Some came just for medical purposes. Affordable and high class medical facilities.
That’s interesting to know. I’d not heard of KL being a location for that before 👍🏻
@@josh.onthemoveFYI… KL & Penang.
some foreigners also go to other states fr medical & healthcare purposes…. Johor, Melaka & Sabah.
u can check it out 😊
Whatever it is Malaysia is the best . Foreigners make Malaysia their second home . I have travelled elsewhere but for me home is still Malaysia . ❤
Enjoy our Lovely Malaysia 🇲🇾
Thanks!
Nice interesting informative video thank you 🎉
Thanks 👊🏻
Proton is Malaysian...made in Malaysia...obviously you will find them on every corner...Welcome to Malaysia...😊
I now know this haha, thanks! :)
Hai... I'm Malaysian and I would advise for a solo traveller loke you, it's easier, faster and cheaper to take the train to go around the city area.... Taxi or Grab will make you stuck in traffic.... That's cannot be avoid...
Thanks for the advice!
You entered the Kampung Baru...a village😂
Explain what this means haha I'm new to KL!
the last remaining Malay village smacked in the center of KL .. these very high demand lands are worth millions but the residents refuse to move away
Don't look at the building conditions, it look old but those building smack down in KL are expensive. The owners is just waiting for the highest bidder and suddenly something else pop out.
Hi..welcome you to Malaysia
Thank you 🙏🏻
And you have to try the beef rendang curry too.
@@MJP1970 that alone is a reason for me to go back 😉

Haha it looked like it tbh but it didn’t feel like it
@@josh.onthemove every back alley in malaysia is like that, we are not serious about cleaning it.
because people don't pass that area. we only take care of the area that people pass by.

@2:36, that vw golf must be towed for parking at yellow line.
KL it’s a food heaven sir
It sure is 🫡👌🏻
Welcome mate, i supposed you are from Australia.
Thanks! I'm from the Uk
@@josh.onthemoveIt must be from the UK that's why you knows protons..but unfortunately you doesn't know that protons are malaysian cars..Actually all around you are proton cars but you don't know because it's possible that protons aren't marketed in the UK anymore..that's why you don't know the new release from protons..and you noticeable accent is Uk
the chinese beef roti looks like a turkish burek
It tastes super similar too, it came to my mind when eating it. This was crispier on the outside tho 👍🏻
Malaysia is number 4 in the world for skyscrapers after China, USA and UAE.
You can tell when you're there!
@@josh.onthemove living on floor 40th of a condo is now a normal experience here. By 2035, the number of skyscrapers (30 storeys and higher) will double throughout the country.
I estimate this based on the current trajectory and development plans.
@@arii1987 that’s crazy numbers, I personally wouldn’t like to live that high up but the views up that high are insane!
@@josh.onthemove Yes it is. There are 2 things we have in excess of on a Per Capita Basis. 1. Cars and 2. Skyscrapers.
We have the most number of highways and expressways in Southeast Asia. And the 2nd most complex highway system after China in the world.
That's why it feels very different ftom other Southeast Asian countries. Even the small towns are not really rural. Only in Borneo and some places where its less dense would you feel rural.
Otherwise you can relatively find anything from anywhere in the world.
My wife is from Sabah on Borneo Island so I travel there often. And I own a condo/apartment there with a Toyota Hilux as the roads there are not that good once outside the towns.
Therefore, I see the contrast of the whole country.
Enjoy KL
Thank you 🙌🏻
Come back again bro..#loveaus
I plan to, thanks!
Malaysia is the most skyscrapers city in Southeastasia,,, with around 250 skyscrapers,, Jakarta 150 skyscrapers, Bangkok 100 skyscrapers, Singapore 98 skyscrapers..... only a few skyscrapers city on earth.....and mostly in china, Malaysia top 8 of skyscrapers city in the world
malaysian loves malls. reason : free air conditioner 😆
Haha it makes sense now 😅
Not all people you met were Malaysian.
Everyone I met was in Kuala Lumpur
How about KL's greenery compared to other SEA city that you've visited?
Tbh I wasn’t there long enough to say for sure but from the investigating I’ve done, the surrounding areas had a lot of nature and greenery 👍🏻
I’m going to Thailand in 3 weeks, I want to get an apartment out there for a couple months. What’s the best way to get one? Thanks
@@TheEpicLegend if you want to stay in one place for 2-3 months, Facebook marketplace is a good option. If you want just a month in each place, try Airbnb and put in dates that are over 28 days and you’ll get a monthly discount 👍🏻

@@josh.onthemovethats a typical back alley in Malaysia.
Welcome to KL. You're on the touristy part of the city there. 2:31 - That's Changkat Bukit Bintang and yes, Malaysia is about 65% muslim-majority mostly concentrated in the peninsula. If you head over to the Malaysian part of Borneo specifically Sarawak, alcohol is easier to find because it is the only non-muslim part of Malaysia. Sarawak is proud of their rice wine traditions... has also her own beer called 1602.
4:41 - Ah! That shop. I swore never to set foot in their eatery. When they first open the shop, someone complained about one of their staff wearing a necklace with a small cross. Instead of standing by their staff or explaining, they simply fire the poor fellow. Take note that it was some idiots making a stupid fuss when there is no restrictions on the religion of staff of a restaurant hired. I don't care if "their stuff is good" as you said.
Thanks for the comment. There’s plenty of the country I want to visit and explore next time. That place on the corner was so good, shame you’ve not tried it before but I get your reasons and respect the integrity
How old are you, sir?
It could be lamb rendang
Whatever it was, it was amazing haha 😝

If Surprised than LEAVE!
Lol you’d be fun at a surprise birthday party. Why leave if you’re surprised? Why so hostile? Have a good day 😎
48 hours in center of KL does not grasp the real atmosphere of Malaysia. Next time spend at least few weeks here, explore the outskirt of KL, or better visit other states outside KL.
For sure, it’s a taste of what KL was like in a short space of time 👍🏻
