Barbarian!! I had this very vague memory of a game i played in the 90s. Couldn't remember the name or anything really, except the feeling it gave me. Now i know! Thanks!
Do you know if many games could utilise the midi over the Yamaha chip? I assume they had to write stand alone sound files for it originally and it doesn't just convert.
If you don't mind my asking: how long did it take for you to have this collection and the space to run all these machines? I want to get into retro computing but I don't have the space yet for this many machines.

Glad it helped!
Great channel finely real hardware, not the ugly emulation.
That's it, you summed it up very well. Only real stuff not emulation.
Those colors in Atari ST Barbarian… mever a CRT looked better.
Arkanoid - the C64 had the best tune. Only one with a "3D sound", all the others were "flat"!
Exactly
Nice studio! I miss the Atari ST days. Maybe get a Roland MT for it!
Thanks!

@@boilerhousegarage Ultima IV and several of the sierra adventures could play their soundtracks via MIDI.
Great selection of games, my friend!
Thank you, friend Georges!
Oh nice, a first release big box of Monkey Island for the ST. I use to have it, but only the Kixx XL one.. 😐
If only I kept all of mine back then...
Barbarian on Amiga should be played in NTSC as it was originally designed!
Sure

About 20 years and always been fighting for space. The house is full of retro and my wife's going completely crazy ;)
R-type for amiga .... sound head over heels above the rest. No comparison whatsoever. Good lord how shitty the Atari monitor sound is ....
Even C64 sounds better.
