- Playing Arkanoid, the emblematic video game from 1986, along with my kids on four different computers: Commodore 64, Amiga 500, Atari 520 ST and DOS PC (IBM PS/2).
An incredibly enjoyable experience!

The main philosophy of this channel is to provide authenticity: vintage software running on original hardware and CRT display. Only real stuff not emulation.
The second goal is to achieve aesthetics shots of vintage stuff, to show you the best perspective on retro machines and to reveal the artistic aspect of early video games.

Very nice! Arkanoid was one of the games that played well on all systems... along with Bubble Bobble, Pang, Golden Axe, Xenon, Prince of Persia, Lemmings, and some more... it seems that good programming makes good ports

You could add Tetris to that list, but not so sure about Xenon
@@RetroDream Tetris was nice on PC, but not as good on other systems, and horrible on Amiga.. maybe I should have added "New Zealand Story", "Robocop" and "Batman the Movie"
Arkaniod, Bubble Bobble, and Tetris, were the first games I acquired for my MSX2+ and couldn’t be happier. I recently picked up Golden Axe for the WonderSwan Color and that’s also an excellent port!

C64 took this by some margin. That SID chip is something to behold.

MSX cartridge version came with a paddle controller called Vaus. MSX 2 version of the sequel also came with a paddle in different colours

I see an apple//. There is an Arkanoid for the apple. It would have been "Arkanoid on five Computers at once". And if the apple// version sucks, i suggest you get your hands on an apple//gs. :)
