    I’m so glad I came across your channel. Becoming a FA has been on my mind for some time and I think it’s time to act on it! Could you possibly make a video of a regular day at work for you, from arriving at the airport to landing? Also, I’m sure it depends on the airline, but approximately how long is training before you get to take flights? Thanks in advance!

      I believe she already has some of those! Her TikTok and Instagram are also great 🙌🏽 for training, it seems like the major airlines train for 6-8 weeks

    I am a full-time student. Is the a minimum of how many hours flight attendants have to fly?

    • @TheDailyDeparture
      @TheDailyDeparture  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      On reserve for my airline it’s normally 18 days on 12 days off! On a line normally it’s 15 on 16 off (~70 hours) but you have to have a min of 40 hours per month

    I applied to United! The application process was actually interesting!! I really hope they respond soon tho.American required a cover letter which was a bit weird. United actually pays during training as opposed to American which does not.
    I work in customer service right now! I enjoy it and I’m pretty good at it so hopefully it’ll help me :)

      Check out my blog post, I have a list of what all airlines pay for training! I have been told while united "pays" for training is actually a loan that will have to be paid back! AA also offers loans through the credit union for new hires, if that helps!

    Thank you so much for your videos! Could you please make a video about some examples of problem solving that you frequently encounter on the job as a flight attendant and how you solved the problems and communicated? I would love to hear your perspective of this customer service experience- you seem to have such a wonderful energy and way of communicating! Thanks so much- I love your videos!

    Both this and the railroad process most definitely seem almost one in the same, at least from that of my personal experience. Your videos, believe it or not, helped me more than a bunch throughout it and helped me feel more relaxed during the interview portion. Thanks so much and for you and your career, happy flying.

    I got CJO in the beginning of September. My Drug screen and DOT has been cleared but I still do not have any updates from AA .
    Can you give me an advice how long does it take for CJO candidates like me to get the FA training schedule from AA?
    Thanks.

    Hello, I find your videos very interesting and to the point. I currently reside in the Chicagoland area and work full time. I will be retiring from my career in about 6 years at the age of 51. Since I love to fly and travel to different places, I really want to become a flight attendant. The only concern that I have is my age. Do I even have a chance in becoming a flight attendant at the age of 51? What kind of volunteer work I could do to help me with the process of being hired later in my life? Any help/suggestions will be appreciated.

      I believe spirit and southwest have bases there! You might not get it out of training, but you could commute until you get the transfer!

    I’ve been putting in an application each year for an airline out of my hometown and it’s rejected each time!! Do they want experience? It’s really stressing me out.
