Insane how different these bikes looks without the plastic 😂but Congrats on successfully swapping the engine, good luck on finding that kick starter man!🙏
I’m a little late to the party lol but this content is dope man! I just bought a little 2020 ssr 125 to mess around and I’m already thinking about swapping it haha
Looks sick! You should just bump start it for now and start the engine break in. Obviously not a great solution on trails but it’ll get you up and running
Do you think the 150cc engine could benefit from a 150cc CDI box? Or do you think the 125cc, and the 150cc engines possibly share the same CDI box. I've heard they sold what they might call an advance CDI box that slightly helps the bike out apparently
It suck that you have to wait for the kickstarter, but you order them already right? The part where you tried the gear lever felt good and solid, how does it compare with the 125cc engine?
Should I remove that oil filter air release completely?? or what If would just remove the black plug mine has same thing already starting build oil up in it
thats what i did. i removed the whole thing, and then you run the engine side of the tube down the back of the casing (there should be a little tab mount there already for it)
And dude to be honest you had exacly the same problem as me i just didn't put mine togther and also i had pur a 160 but second hand and had to get the shop the put it together but it didnt work and then i had this brand new engine that was suppose to be a 125 but then i got a 125 clutch cable ended up being the wrong size and then a 140 and i got to work also the kick starter i had on 160 was to small for new motor and also my engine looks exactly like yours but mine's supposed to be a 125 hmmm ? Love the build anyways man!
@@AaronsEnduro oh Fr thank you so much and what engine you think I should get I have a ssr and I like all your videos they help me a lot with my pit bike 👌🏼
Ummm how the hell do you you put a pit bike motor in a pir bike up side down wtf i build them up all the time but never have i did it with the frame up side fown looks hard youd need to hold the engine some how up side doen as your bolting it all together lol ?
Then one by one did locktight on them after. Idk man it was my first bike and first engine swap lol. I didnt watch a single video on how to do it or nothing. I just filmed me doing it
But I am going to swap my Apollo x18 motor as well and like your video .Sorry I just have a pet peeve with those plastic frame things nothing personal.I am looking ycf 150cc motor instead of the piranha .But anyway how is the difference between the stock 125 and the piranha 140 ?Is it worth $500

Endless possibilities! Fun little toys!

Still gonna need a proper clutch assembly
Aww true If you can’t get into first that won’t work

honestly i wouldnt trust any replica or knock off cdi's. From what Apollo Motors told me, the 125 and 150 share the same CDI box.
It suck that you have to wait for the kickstarter, but you order them already right? The part where you tried the gear lever felt good and solid, how does it compare with the 125cc engine?
I havent found one in stock thats not 1-2 months out . The gear shifting feels way more solid in the 150

sounds like we whent trough the same kinda ordeal haha! Thanks for watching and hope you enjoyed!
Apollo makes a 150 cc motor?
I have a z20 max 2020 I want to engine swap the kick start is stuck where did you get your motor from
ApolloMotors.ca
And you can push start it click it in second gear run with it jump on it and drop the clutch works best down hill
Of course, but i dont wanna get into an enduro trail n have to try n bump start it
@@AaronsEnduro ik not take it on a Enduro ride just do it in ur drive way and ride around the yard so we could hear and see the bike run
I have no yard and have neighbors thatll call the cops asap when i take the bike out. Gonna have to do a test n tune in the woods or somethin
Now will this fit a syx 50cc dirt bike lol
All depends on the bolt pattern
Where you your exhaust and muffler from
This is a stock exhaust setup! I know they offer em on apollomotors.ca
I have 2020 kick start stuck no idea where get parts any help?
If ur looking for 1 on 1 help check this out

What was the top speed after the engine swap?
100 km/h
The 150cc engine that you linked did not fit my Apollo z20. Also, the wiring was completely different from stock: the CDI was 8 pin.
This engine and swap was for the rfz platform not the z20 platform (as i showcase the rfz)
Curious as to what “didnt fit” tho.
Did you ever found a engine to swap in to the z20
I wonder if that engine can fit any 110
Probably! They all have the same engine mounts!
What clutch cable did you end up using for this engine?
"150cc" clutch cable they offer on apollomotors.ca
Thanks man I appreciate ur video made me buy the motor for my z20 max lol
Heck yeah man! Thats sweet! Glad you enjoyed the video :) thanks for watching
Can you drill out the 125 kick starter hole and make it bigger?
No its threaded. If you drill it out it wont stay upright
where can i get that exhaust pipe?
Mines stock. Apollomotors.ca
Aaron Greenway Is 28mm?
Honestly not sure on mm
Aaron Greenway ok thanks 🙏🏽
Hey bro which bolts did u put in first? Did u put it in with the bike upside down?
Yes i put it in upside down, if I remember correctly it was the back through bolt first then the four on the skidplate area
And then the top one last?
Whats most important is not to crank down any of the bolts until their all started to be threaded in
Your video or the best bro keep it up
Appreciate it !! 762mm is the height!
@@AaronsEnduro OK
T bolt USA probably gots some
What site did u get the motor from
Apollomotor.ca
How tall is the bike in mm
762mm
What motor is that exactly like where did you get it I swapped my ssr125 with a yx150 Ycf racing motor mine went right in!!
Its a ytx150 !
Got it from apollomotors.ca
Where you got your engine I got a 110 you think it would fit
Yep should fit no problem! All engines fron 110cc to 190 cc use the same engine mounts!
@@AaronsEnduro oh Fr thank you so much and what engine you think I should get I have a ssr and I like all your videos they help me a lot with my pit bike 👌🏼
What kind of 150cc engine
Its a Lifan YTX
how about the 190 whats the top speed im hearing 80 on the 190
Not sure man, never rode one
70 max
Good RFZ 150 cc 75 mph✌️
Cant wait to go ride and try it out!!!
Does anyone know how I can make my RFX 150 FreeRide Max faster? I think I might get into racing and might need some extra speed.
Gearing swap, big wheel swap, a good tune on an aftermarket carb
@@AaronsEnduro Alright. Thanks dude.
@@AaronsEnduro Do you have any links? Nor really sure where to buy them.
Let me know how it goes!
Links in video descriptions!
Thisan ain't show us shit, he just remembered to record after the fact every time 🤣🤣🤣
That’s because this is the recap video.. if you want the detailed tidbits go watch the individual episodes
You can spread it out
Spread what out

pause! the "D" lol
lol
Guys I have a secret his 150 is actually A 140!!!
Mm nope
Stamped as a 150.
Although there is a 140 and a 150cc ytx, this is the 150 model
@@AaronsEnduro oh I didn’t know that. I mistook this as a yx 140. (I have a similar Chinese 140 swapped pit bike)
Don't like unless your making it 69k or 420 it's at 69 leave it.
😂😂
600$ for the motor Jesus
Canadian dollars keep in mind so like 400 usd
Please take off those dumb plastic protectors on the frame they literally do nothing and look dumb
You do realize this video is years old? Lol
Sure do
But I am going to swap my Apollo x18 motor as well and like your video .Sorry I just have a pet peeve with those plastic frame things nothing personal.I am looking ycf 150cc motor instead of the piranha .But anyway how is the difference between the stock 125 and the piranha 140 ?Is it worth $500
Your swapping an Apollo125 motor with a 150cc Apollo motor ?My bad I thought you where putting a piranha motor in it still a good video though
