Is the diamond plate vinyl flooring hard to clean out? I’m building my trailer now in considering something smoother, but want to know is that traction necessary?
It’s really easy to clean but I’m wanting to change it out to something different this spring.
Will probably do a vinyl plank floor this time.
Where did you get the rubber flooring at?

Nice video.
Unfortunatley the rubber, vinyl floor is very slippery when wet and when tires are muddy, wet,...
So be careful walking on it.
I know many who applied onto the ramp the same stuff as used on the underbody.
Thanks for the tips and pointers. I’m looking forward to my build and there’s a bunch of details that are hard to find info on. This was very helpful 👍
Making plan to a similar hunting trailer. Looking forward to seeing what you do. I really like that floor. Thanks
what was the undercoating for? Just extra protection? it provides no insulation value, correct?
Primarily just to give it a protective coat to help stop salt and water damage so it does not start rotting out prematurely.
I would say that it gives it some insulation value but not why I did it.
Thank you!
Did you insulate the walls, floor and ceiling?
I did not.
Ran a small electric heater in it one night while I was painting the interior, it was below 30° outside and it stayed warmer than I would want it to be while sleeping in it so don’t think I needed to insulate it for what I’m going to use it for! Although I may change my mind during the middle of hunting season. LoL
In regards to the bubbles under the flooring....I once had a similar problem. I drilled a 1/16th hole in the bubble and let the air out, rolled it out..... problem solved. Keep up the good work.
