Hi Maddie! I have been thinking of starting my own crafts business but I got scared and overwhelmed by the process and if someone would purchase it. When I saw your video on small business on the road, it made me rethink what I am afraid of. And now, I finally got the courage to start my business with scrunchies at first and got a few sales. @@mystievann2192 You’re welcome! Good luck with your small business! Very exciting. Remember, the worst thing that could happen is if you don’t try, then you’ll never know if it could’ve been successful. Thanks so much for sharing - it is so wonderful to see the mix of things you do - the art, the quiet alone time (with Eliza, of course), the daily life in your home, and the anticipation of meeting up with friends again. The snake drawing is so detailed - wow - you have some serious patience and skill to do that! Hope the next festival goes well - stay safe, stay happy
Maddie, I absolutely love your videos, your van, Eliza and you so much! You have a beautiful spirit and such a presence on camera. Glad to see you in Oregon, my home state, which I recently returned to after twenty years away. I’ve also done van life here in the PNW and truck life for many years on a S Pacific Island...it does teach us so many things. New subscriber here! Blessings and much Aloha 🙏💜🌎☮️🌎💜🙏🐾🐾💕
Hi Maddie. I am a new subscriber, and this is the very first video of yours that I have watched. It is almost impossible for me to find the words adequate enough to fully convey what a treasure and gift this video is to me. From the very first scene, I was captivated. From the gorgeous scenery and cinematography; to your absolutely soothing, gentle, and peaceful spirit; and to the truly and endearingly genuine and sincere way that you let us into your very special space and world; I found it hard to contain my soul from soaring. You are a kindred spirit, Maddie; a true treasure in this world. And this video is now one of my all-time favorites. It's like you put into captivating words, sentiments, feelings, and images, the "soul" of your van life experience; and I am so very grateful for that. I sincerely wish you all the happiness in the world, Maddie. May all your hopes anad dreams come true. 😊
I love getting inspired by everything you do. The filming style, the art, the quiet alone time. I loved hangin with you and Eliza on the coast, I miss it already
Love your videos Maddie 🥰 I found you through your video about van life with a dog, and I'm amazed by how happy and well behaved Eliza looks! I am starting my journey of living on the road in my SUV this winter with my dog Chai. I am wondering if you can make another video about van life with Eliza, talking about any training you do, any precautions you take to keep her safe, where you feel comfortable to have her off leash, how you keep her on a good feeding schedule, how to clean her paws off before she goes in the van, how you think she likes living on the road, etc. Thank you so much! 💖
I love your idea of a “quick breakfast”. Broccoli, carrots, bell pepper all mixed together in a stir fry with undisclosed yellow-ish goo drizzled in! My idea of a quick breakfast is a piece of toast! If I’m feeling particularly rakish, I might smear some honey on it!
I think this is one of my favorite videos of yours. Just regular everyday living. My favorite thing in your food haul was......drum roll......MEDJOOL DATES! I love them! Oregon looks so beautiful! Thank you.
You're not alone - you've got Eliza. When I had my fur babies with me, I never felt alone. Animals are amazing companions. Maybe I just don't need the company of humans as much! :)
If your still in the area, search for agates in the creeks and at the beach. Lincoln city is know for the agates on the beach. There are some smaller beaches down some steep stairs that were loaded with gravel when I was there. It can be used for jewelry and crafting.
How one Human Being can touch another so deeply that I feel your pain and joy. I love the Videos where you are alone. I feel like we are best friends and I resonate deeply with what you say and do. Then in the dark that hug brought me to tears. The contrast is so beautiful.

Has me wondering what the hell have I been doing in my life. I started working at 16 and haven't stopped since from year to year. 34 years later, not much to show for it, and haven't achieved much either. Living in a van and enjoying the slow life is something very tempting for me.
@@verathings Thank you for the encouragement. Thats so great that you took the brave plunge and made it happen. May it be all that it seems to be for you.

I'm eager to see your video with the Sony camera. Your friends are certainly special and enjoyable to watch you all enjoy such a warm friendship. Who taught you how to cook? Your mother? You've certainly mastered the fine art of culinary appeal. It makes me hungry. LOL. Take care and thanks for such wonderful videos.
Addie, I think your art is brilliant, I love watching you draw and paint. Your reflexions are really cool and thought provocating, even for someone as aged as myself ! Take care and we are with you x
There are lots of nice vans that I’ve seen on TH-cam but I think yours is one of the best. Not that the layout is so much different but your style of decor makes it so homey, cosy. Well it gives me a feel at home feeling anyway 😊.
The greatest help to your lifestyle choice has been your wonderful friends who committed themselves to looking out for you. You also have a loyal following on TH-cam, and a small artwork business, so you are not nearly as alone as you sometimes feel, and you have a decent income that enabled your buying that beautiful Sony camera. Your filming has become absolutely outstanding, the editing and drone footage all showing how highly skillful you are. Maddie, you are on solid ground and with time, will doubtless become greater. With much love and gratitude, ~Wendi 🌻

If you want to give coffee another try, switching to a dark roast. The heat of roasting gradually breaks down the caffeine, so the darker the roast the lower the caffeine. I can't drink light roasts because of anxiety and can only have one or two medium roasts, but a dark roast like a French roast I can drink several of and I'm fine:) That way you still get all the health benefits of coffee. It has more antioxidants than anything else we eat or drink and reduces incidence of several types of cancer by considerable amounts. Some people call a sink shower _bird bathing._
