I think I'm still pronouncing it wrong but I know it should sound more like "eighties" than "uh tease"... Just ignore me if I get it wrong lol. I'll eventually say it correctly. :p

It's A like the letter, followed by tease......A-Tease would be how you pronounce it. Think of A-Team (the movie) :)
Everyone is always iffy about the mullet the first time they see but then it grows on you and you miss it when it's gone!😭😭

The black hair is SEONGHWA
And the one in the hat is YUNHO (main dancer) [the one with the denim jacket in the dance practice]

San actually explains their concept in the intro track on their debut album, 'Intro : Long Journey', which has an accompanying trailer that they released before the album if you maybe want to watch/react to that before Treasure.
I like how in one way or another they all manage to catch your attention in different songs and videos. Mingi is my bias but Hongjoong (the leader) and San always grab my attention and I LOVE Jongho's voice (high notes guy).
Yaas I've been waiting for this! You got everyone correct in the MV but you missed one member lol. I'll give you names: leader is Hongjoong, purple hair (the same one in the end of Hala Hala) is Wooyoung, deep voiced rapper is Mingi, the one with crazy facial expressions is Seonghwa, green hair is San, 7:53 that's Yeosang (the one who sings ''raise me up, take me up in hala hala), 8:06 you didn't know him (with a cap) and that's Yunho, the one with crazy vocals is Jongho (youngest) :)

I’m not a fan of guides, cause they don’t get the personality of these precious soft crack heads (esp Seonghwa & Yeosang are diff to explain in a guide being more introverted but also soft savages)

You liked the choreo part at ‘will you be my friend’ they got this part as present from Rie Hata during their pre-debut show ‘Codename Ateez’ and created the rest of the choreo themselves and then fine-tuned it with their choreo teachers.
Hongjoong is def someone to catch your eye and we all stan him more or less ;)
Ateez is such an OT8 bias-wrecker group tho and I rec to watch the life-stages of Pirate King too and also give focus-cams of the stages a try.

I just HAVE to rec you to watch the solo fancams of that 2. stage, San & Seonghwa loved to be devils on stage during Hala Hala era and Hongjoong has amazing facial expressions, these 3 always wreck me (all 8 are amazing dancers, esp since they started out with performance vids as KQ Fellaz ).

It's like the A-Team, except it's "teez" pronounced like "tease." Hope that helps. :) They are complete dorks, and they are amazing. They put out dance covers and other things prior to their debut under the name "KQ Fellas," which was the name they were going to debut under before the company went with Ateez. Another cool thing is that they are involved in their own music.
My personal bias is Mingi, who is the tall rapper. He is freakin' adorable. Also, on a side note, the maknae, Jongho, is crazy strong and can split an apple with his bare hands while singing high notes lol. The clips they put out of it were actually how I first heard of them. xD

YAY, ATEEZ!!! Someone else already commented two of the guides that I was going to lol. Just wanted to add that I feel like the new one (th-cam.com/video/2PNsn0G1dbM/w-d-xo.html) has more actual information about them rather than just cute and funny stuff, imo, it combines the best bits of some of the guide. Something it doesn't mention is the fact that there was a 9th member added (he joined them) while they were in LA for predebut training, he name is Junyoung. Unfortunately, he didn't debut with them, which I'm still so sad about, but he is included in the song and MV that they did in LA for their song "From". This song along with their predebut LA "vlogs" and dance covers as KQ Fellaz are on KQ Entertainment's youtube channel.

YES. They're great; I was skeptical first but then the songs just grow on you and now they're my favorites lol. I jam to their albums everyday... and the members are just awesome.

Around 5:30, you were asking who was who and you were 100% correct. The one with the purple hair (the one at the end of Hala Hala) is Wooyoung. The one with green hair is San like you said (pronounced with the a as in father), the blonde in the front was Yeosang, the leader is Hongjoong, the other rapper like you mentioned is Mingi, the brown haird boy is Yunho, and the two with black hair are Seonghwa and Jungho. Jungho is the one with the crazy vocals and Seonghwa is the one with the amazing face~ hope it helps! You're already doing a great job learning them. I hope you become Atiny (the fan group name)!
