Oh boy, you're getting into BTOB and that's gonna be a ride hahaha... They're basically the craziest, goofiest group out there, but they have amazing vocals - and they're known for their vocal-focused music/ballads, so that's probably why you didn't expect a lot of rap? I don't know, I just have a feeling that they developed into more vocally focused group as time went by... but yeah, they're crazy and awesome and I think you'll have a lot of fun! Also - if you didn't know (although I doubt it) they're CLC's, Pentagon's and (G)I-DLE's older brother group.
BTOB really begins to shine once Cube allowed them more creative control and the members got to write and produce their songs. Then they really got to showcase all of their talents. I love them as a group as they really fit well together (which why everyone is super upset about the Ilhoon announcement). This group is insanely fun to watch. I'd recommend watching them on Weekly Idol 261 & 262. They appear along with Got7, Twice and Girlfriend...and they really just cause everyone to lose it with laughter. They are not normal but it's so enjoyable to watch.
BtoB are probably the wildest group in the entire kpop industry but they're some of the most talented as well. Their vocal and rap lines are seriously insane and I'm glad you're getting to know them more. Can't wait for you to check out a decent guide for them!
