- money money money. In this video I reveal how much I've earned in my first year on youtube through adsense :) I was pretty excited tbh, TH-cam can be really really hard, but seeing some money trickle in for stuff you did a while ago is super cool, can help make the future work seem more fun.

Thank you for this video. I am one year deep and still much smaller than you. I agree it's a lot of work for limited $$ (or still zero $$ in my situation) but its great to share your journey of life and experiences with others. 🙂

Btw your rpm is probably higher because it adds the days you weren't monetized

what do watch hours mean? Is it the time I spend watching other people's videos or the time people spend watching the videos I would post on my channel? Thanks in advance
it's the total time people spend watching your videos that you post on your channel :)
@@tintinsmith so if for example I post 1 hour video and 3 people watched the whole video that would be a total of 3hours watch time? Sorry these are probably dumb questions but I just want to be sure :)

Hey, Novice TH-camr here 👋🏾….How do you show your screen and have your face in that circle at the bottom?
haha hey, took me a minute to figure out too. In Final Cut Pro you got to "installed effects" on the right end of the timeline, click Mask then drag on "shape mask" and change it to a circle. I'd just youtube search "circle facecam" and whatever editing software you use that should help
