That looks wonderful! I just discovered you and I'm going to check on your other videos. Thank you for posting and sharing your recipes and other information. 💜
Nice tutorial I was wondering 🤔 if your aloe powder broke down completely?? I've used it before and it seemed like little granulation remained in the lotion. It was organic aloe Vera powder
Yes it does. If the powder you have is completely dehydrated you can soak it in oil until it absorbs the oil and eventually falls apart. The more finely dusted the more it will dissolve, so you can also run it through a coffee grinder after you bu it or make it if you want to turn it into more of a dust.
Wow, this is great! I want to make some lotions and give them out for birthday and holiday gifts. What natural preservatives do you suggest I add to these lotions to make them last longer, and other different fragrances I might be able to add? Thank you.
Thanks mam for sharing. I have a question can you tell about preservative n also can we use aloe gel or aloe extract too... N also do suggest other juices too in replacement of aloe juice. Thank you so much.
I think so! I would try it. If you arent sure just make a small amount, but if I had some in my fridge I would def try it on myself and see ow it feels.
Hi I am new to your channel. Can I use the fresh aloe vera Leaf, instead of aloe vera juice? Do I still need to use the aloe vera powder? Can I skip the grapeseed Oil and replace it with other oils I like? Do I have to use Shea butter, or can I leave it out?
Th best place to start is at CottageDY.com . Here you will find all the information you need. There s an entire free book that gives you hundreds of suppliers and resources.
I am so happy I found your channel 😊 thank you for sharing! I would love to see a video hopefully with recipe for shower steamers / shower tablets. Thank you again
hello thanks for your video , i couldnt find the ingrendients details, if i put the aloe vera gel (from the supermarket) with vitamine E and the others oil, then how long this product can stay out the frige ? i need more information becaue im trying to start to sell handmade products. thanks
This looks lovely! I just am confused how to purchase the recipe on your site? Do I need to become a member for $5 a month? Thank you for clarifying :)
I woukd like do add some AHA drops to turn it into a light exfoliating body lotion since I'm near my 40's now. 😊 Should I just put them in the end? Thank you, I'm a huge fun. 👏
Thanks fo the video but I have done quite a bit of research and aloe Vera juice and gel is not a preservative. Any lotion or cream made will need a preservative.
If we want to make this lotion with a loose or somewhat runny texture, then what is the ingredient which we want to reduce in this to give that texture?
I have made comfrey. The more you dissolve down the powder the more it will disappear. In this particular batch I am using hand powdered aloe, which typically means the pieces are even larger than the store bought type. This still dissolved perfectly with no powder or residue left behind. If this is something you experience, then I would recommend making an infused oil with the aloe powder and filtering the finished infusion. Remember, the aloe in its original state is basically a sludge, and the powder is being re-hydrated, so you will not have powder as soon as it gets wet.
No. We are never cooking in the microwave just melting. I also do not use a microwave too often and I have the smallest version you can buy with the weakest power. I think it is a 1.5 cubit ( or something like that) It takes a full 10/15 seconds to actually melt anything, but I was reminded that a lot of microwaves are so much more powerful when I used one at my moms house. Things started to burn in her giant microwave after 4 seconds. If you cook or burn your ingredients, then yes you can destroy them. So, it is helpful to remember that many microwaves are very very different and yes it is important to watch it closely and never let it get too hot. However, for just melting then it is perfectly ok to use. a good tip would be.... if you can smell it while the microwave is on , you've gone too far.

aloe powder just disintegrates and blends into this without a residue?? Is it like comfrey? Have you ever made a comfrey lotion?

Won’t the microwave destroy the beneficial properties?
No. We are never cooking in the microwave just melting. I also do not use a microwave too often and I have the smallest version you can buy with the weakest power.
