Gingras is lower than a slug. He set Laura up by getting her to attack not only Clayton but Dave Neal. While behind her back and his public image he was telling Clayton’s lawyers that he felt she had a mental illness. But did he do the right thing no not Gingras he bleed her for money and continues to do even after she has lost this case. Even to the point of telling her he is going to appeal even though she has been referred to the DA for prosecution. But he’s that low he is still putting useless motions before the court. Even allowing her not only bad mouth a judge but also doing it himself. Is he hoping to retire from what he has earned from her in all the motions and other things he filed. I wouldn’t be surprised if the judge puts in a serious bar complaint against him, and I can’t see the bar complaints ignoring a complaint put in by a judge.
I absolutely agree with you TUG that it is terrifyling how a tragic mistake can slip through and ruin lives. For KR, if several counts are found "not guilty" can the person be retried for those counts?

For those wondering why there would be live ammo on set:
We actually don't know how it got there, because Hannah refused to tell. (It's part of why she refused the plea deal they gave her.)
But it looks like the live rounds came from Thell Reed. There was an ammo shortage at the time Rust was filmed and it was supposedly hard to get enough dummies for the production. So she might have brought live rounds and billed the production for an inertia puller to take those rounds apart to make dummies herself. She might have missed those 6 rounds. (She also might have bought that inertia puller because she found a live round prior and tried to see if it really was live. The puller vanished after she had access to her truck, at least from what prosecution said in her trial.)
Her organization skills were so bad, the rounds were just mixed together.. She used a fanny pack on set but it's all just put everywhere...

I think Special Prosecutor Kari Morrissey is trying to poke at Alec until he can't help himself and testify.
And SAG can have rules all they want, they are superceded by the rules of the country and state the filming is done in. They even have that in the rules itself. And from what I gathered, New Mexico law says (amongst other things) the one that points at a person and pulls the trigger is at fault, iirc. He did that.
And for people that think Baldwin shouldn't have been charged since Hannah is at fault. In this case more than one person can be at fault! If any one of these people had done their job, Halyna would be alive today. (Hannah checking the ammo and holding everyone on set to gun safety rules, Dave Halls making sure there's time for Hannah to do her job and everyone know the armorer has last say with the guns, Baldwin not pressuring the staff into going faster and faster and going to his safety courses and not pointing a gun at people! and not pulling the friggin trigger after he cocked the gun, which he wasn't even supposed to do because they were blocking the scene and a friggin stick would have sufficed! But Alec Baldwin the big hollywood guy wanted his big pew pew for everything, even when he isn't supposed to have it! Yes Hannah didn't have the balls for her job (and no being 24 isn't an excuse there are female armorers out there that weren't older than her when starting out and still did their job right!) but Alec Baldwin blew off safety on set multiple times before the incident, no one stopped him and he ultimately pulled the trigger!)
If I'm not mistaken, one of the reasons they shoot movies in New Mexico is to get around A LOT of those SAG/ movie rules.

Baldwin trial needs to set precedence and change laws nationwide regarding liability for who's HOLDING THE GUN.
Personally, I think Baldwin should be responsible ALSO, because he's no neophyte. He knows better. He's handled guns his entire career and I'm pretty sure that New Mexico has extremely lax movie set regulations and oversight, which is why most gun movies are filmed there.
If Balwin is this lazy and negligent, you can guarantee many others are too.
