- Watch me install a new carpet tile flooring in this home office. Carpet tiles are an excellent option for an easy to install floor for home owners. Let me know in the comments if you have ever used these or have any questions at all.
Here is the exact same product I installed in this video:

In person stores Lowes had the least amount of carpet tiles selection, Home Depot had a good selection of carpet tiles, and Menards had the best selection of carpet tiles. - แนวปฏิบัติและการใช้ชีวิต
Tell me what room(s) are you considering, or already did, installing carpet tiles?
Thanks for this video, I was looking to use carpet tiles in the kids bedroom. I wanted a simple easy way to floor they’re room. I was looking for something, I can easily remove if needs be due to stains. This video is very informative 😊 I’m from the UK by the way.
@@ButterflySoul. you’re welcome. Thanks for watching. Carpet tiles are so easy to use. UK 🇬🇧 viewers are awesome
What are your thoughts on installing carpet tiles/planks on top of 2mm-6mm underlayment (type used for LVP)?
Particularly in a bedroom type situation.
I think it should work fine. Good luck 😊🛠️
Anything special to keep in mind for a basement where the basement "could" flood cause of power outage?
I think it’s great for that application. You could easily lift the carpet tiles up to dry out. AND no padding to get moldy
Maybe this is a dumb question, but could this work on stairs? And could/would it work with the stair nosing? This would be somewhat of a temporary solution (3-5 years), until we do our stairs in hardwood (when refinishing our hardwood floors elsewhere). For context, we have pine board treads, and subfloor landings- the landings are cut at an angle. Thanks!!!
Yes this would work. So easy to install. However, on stairs make sure they are secured down… Glue, wood trim edges, etc 🛠️🛠️
I would say yes on the actual step but I don't think they are as flexible to go around the tip of the steps. That's a good idea though. I would have never thought about that 😮
What is the sq ft area of the room, how much was it in total and how long did it take? In hours? Im a stay at home mom with 3 under 3 so i need to do this myself but have limited time to do so
I’m going off memory but approximately 140 ft.² and total material cost was probably $400. Time is very quick and efficient. I would say the whole project from beginning to end was only about an hour and a half 😊
No comfortable padding though
Yes you are correct. Use case isn’t for everyone. But ease of install will be the most important for many people 😊
They do have carpet tiles that have padding included for a more plush or, in my case, more insulation on a basement concrete floor
