Tom Cruise is an actor and producer and he is one of the world's highest-paid actors, he has won many awards; three Golden Globe Awards, and three Academy Awards.
Tom Cruise's films have been very financially successful grossing over $4 billion in North America and over $10.1 billion worldwide, making him one of the highest-grossing box office stars of all time.
Tom Cruise's Top Gun Maverick is premiering on May 27th and is expecting to be a big box office grossing movie.
Cruise began acting in the early 1980s and this is really when he broke through with leading roles in Risky Business and hugely famous movie Top Gun A lot of Critical acclaim with his roles in The Color of Money, Rain Man and Born on the Fourth of July).
Now I really started to take note of Tom in the 90’s where he really hit his acting stride in A Few Good Men , the thriller The Firm (1993), the horror film Interview with the Vampire , and Jerry Maguire
I believe Tom Cruise has had a lot of cosmetic and plastic surgery procedures; which may include; face lifts, rhinoplasty and facial implants; there also may be dermal fillers and botox.
Hi Everyone! Just so I'm not accused of clickbait (lol) the thumbnail is of Tom Cruise when he was in the movie the Outsiders. Apparently he offered to remove a crown that he had covering a tooth that was broken when he was playing hockey. That is his real tooth just under a crown; the crown was put back on after his part was filmed. Thank you to everyone who commented regarding his "middle tooth" . I did cover his dental work within this video but thought that his midline being off was way too technical a term to get into; apparently I was wrong!

Do you think his hairline was pushed back artificially to give him more of a square shape? I noticed his hairline was more forward a lot more when home was younger but suddenly perfectly squared a few years later. I don’t know if this would be considered cosmetic but I’ve noticed women sometimes get this done as well.
The early jaw and chin implant was the best career decision he ever made. Completely changed him from being cute boy next door to handsome heartthrob.

Men's jawline widens and gets stronger through late 20s, indeed. But a weak chin doesn't gain projection with maturity by itself.

I know. I think those people just can't handle their idol having someting done. And I can't relate to them, because it is so obvious that major of etertainment celebs have had PS done and it doesn't affect my opinion about my faves except I think they at least should keep their mouth shut and not lie. Lying is not concidered ok in any other issue, why is it on this. Such secrecity around the issue. I am grateful for people such as Lorry for spreading the truth on a positive way!

Honestly, some of the greatest plastic surgery I’ve ever seen. He had a good starting point but the procedures elevated him to one of the most stunning examples of masculine beauty. I feel like people forgot how attractive he is because how weird he is (scientology, junping on oprah’s couch)😂😂😂. I think people have this stigma that plastic surgery looks bad on men, or makes them look hyper feminine- but this video proves that wrong!

I had the biggest crush on him when I was younger and when I saw him in Risky Business I thought he was even cuter (probably because he was more boyish/closer to my age at the time). He is a good looking man but also very odd.
The fact he hasn’t spoken to his daughter in years speaks true volumes of him as a person.

This channel is so invaluable and literally has helped me to come to terms with my own appearance and appreciation for what I have. Hollywood perpetrates body dysmorphia because celebrities always lie about procedures.
Tom Cruise is an excellent example of good skincare, subtle plastic surgery, and physical fitness.

Subtle as in you can't tell he's had it, but the procedures are highly invasive. A full jaw implant, face lifts, nose jobs etc. And this man just creeps me out, he seems a bit scary irl with his weird religion and ideologies..
His surgeon is an artist imo. It’s not like he hasn’t aged but the work to slow down the aging is beautifully done. He doesn’t look plastic.
The chin implant really did wonders for balancing out his face and making it look more masculine. It's amazing how a small change like that can really elevate what you were born with.

EVERYONE in Hollywood gets work done. Absolutely. Everyone. Men, women, dogs, cats, etc. Anyone in front of the camera over a certain age has had work done. It's basically a requirement of the job. The camera is unforgiving and picks up EVERY imperfection -- these people don't have normal lives.

What about Henry Cavill? I never bothered to notice procedures on celebrities before coming across this channel (thanks Lorry!), and I know he's been this gorgeous since his early 20's and he also lost fat but the man's almost 40 and he doesn't seem to age so I wonder if that's all natural
I thought about him to, but he is exactly the same since he was kid, strong janwline, perfect teeth, perfect nose...he lost weight and build muscles, and if you look recent pictures he looks the same as 20 years ago, if he has made any plastic procedure is botox, and is mininum because you can see expression lines in the mouth area and forehead, the only thing that I spotted it's receding hairline.
he seems to have aged naturally to me (well "naturally".. he's probably taken steroids but u know, no surgery)

There’s this photo of him when he was 13-14 I believe, and he honestly looks like a hand crafted and painted nutcracker with really blue eyes, super rosy cheeks, very slick and highlighted hair. His face looks almost the same as now. I think he’s probably the 1% that just won the genetic lotto. Hopefully he won’t need to do anything.

Could the reason he has avoided neck lift surgery is so that everything looks more 'natural' ? Since a big sign of ageing is in the neck, so if he keeps that relatively natural, then his other work looks less suspicious? But gotta hand it to his plastic surgeons, they id a fantastic job, these changes really improved his look dramatically but discreetly

The jaw work is especially brilliant. There is some asymmetry to TC"s face which still remains and, I'd argue, contributes to his good looks. I think he's dumb as dirt but what a screen presence! The quintessential movie star.

I believe highly beautiful people are slightly asymmetrical. Very pretty people are symetrical, but never stunning. Especially in men. Otherwise they look effeminate if too symetrical.

Pilot license for several aircraft. Is always taking lessons in something--always. He was learning hip hop when Tropic Thunder came along. He used the hip hop lessons to create Les Grossman and even performed as Grossman at so awards show with, I think, J Lo. Also hired some Olympic sprinter to teaching him how to run. I don't think anyone thinks he is dumb given his proficiency in film industry. When he was in Taps, it is reported that he would talk to the crew and learn about all the craft and skill they had for every job done even to lighting and such. Nope, not dumb.
lorry as a guy i would love to see these analysis more on men as well this video made me know what goes in the industry and looking at how toxic it is i am out of words. I do feel wayy more confident now that i have seen this and am a lot happier with myself.
Yes. Generally speaking, these images we as a society have been force fed don't exist in nature. As a film student, I've seen firsthand how even the best looking, most sculpted, natural non-surgical face irl turns into a 🥔 in front of a camera real quick 🤣.

Great analysis, Tom Cruise was already a handsome man when he was younger but his procedures made him even more amazing, his plastic surgeons deserves lots of awards for doing an amazing job with him. I’ve always admire him as an actor and of course his attractiveness as well, incredible how Hollywood transformed him into this kind of perfection that he is now, I’ve never would imagine that he had chin or cheek implants or even a facelift but I understand that he’s in that world with a lot of pressures to look always young and perfect, he still looks amazing nowadays

Chris Hemsworth had jaw implants in the last year. If you google it you can find some photos comparing before and after.
RDJ had his teeth redone a long time ago. They were pretty bad in the beginning of his career, big gaps in front etc. It made him look so much better!

This was respectfully done in regards to Tom Cruise. I am 1 week older than Tom, so it is interesting to see how someone of a similar age and general face structure compares to me, a 'regular' (non-movie star) person. I've always loved Tom Cruise since his 'Risky Business' days and LOVED 'Top Gun: Maverick'! Tom is a Superstar!

for example in 2021 (12:25) his hair is looking hella thin and somewhat frail but cut to 2022 (13:09) he has a full head of hair that looks pretty thick and healthy. is it possible that he had a hair transplant of some sort or is that maybe just incredible hair styling? the guy is almost 60 with no sign of hair thinning or hairline recession whatsoever it’s truly remarkable

You ever saw clip on bangs for women? the one some put on their forehead?? Yeah, similar products exist for men. They put it at the crown of their head or just inches behind the forehead’s hairline-to make the hair look more fluffy.

it would be interesting to compare the plastic surgery standards between men and women celebrities. Tom Cruise looks good but they really look natural and you can see his ageing, which I think women celebs try to minimize a lot more maybe? Please do more male celebs!

I've always enjoyed Tom Cruise in his movies throughout the decades. I particularly love "Interview With a Vampire". Yeah he just did it perfectly that it felt natural. I have to give kudos to him and his surgeons for timing it so perfectly, because once he got this surgery then he also started taking more and more serious drama roles.

The new jaw, working with his other stronger features made him look like a Hollywood heartthrob, a different kind of beauty, but a beauty that also famously suits him very well.

What was the most amazing was just house subtle it was and just how great it looked.I've always understood that It's impossible to try and look like a celebrity because you have no idea how much work they've done, and without any plastic surgery or even without a glam squad of your own there's no way to look like them, because even they don't look like some of the pictures we see in magazines.

his mouth and jaw had a lot of procedures. not necessarily for cosmetic procedures. when you have crooked teeth like he did, your teeth wear down faster so thats why its important to have braces. and sometimes jaw surgery is necessary for orthodontic patients. however, i think he had additional jawline surgeries that were for cosmetoc purposes!
And his buccal fat is almost unnoticeable
He had braces around 2002 as an adult. I think it was the second time.
A lot of people need jaw surgeries, misalignment of jaws can cause health problems and impact a person's facial structure. Unfortunately, most orthodontists camouflage the skeletal problems with straightening the teeth in an angle that covers them up. And such surgery has a significant impact on the whole face (cheekbones can become more or less pronounced, chin can appear more or less elongated, lips can become more or less pronounced, even a nose can get broader or less portruding). My point is the whole face changes for the better (in most cases) and depending how servere the problem was, it can almost make the person unrecognisable.
I wish more people were diagnosed and had this surgery instead of getting camouflages which can make the complications of misaligned jaws even worse, not to mention the beautifying effect that comes with it.
@@minam1982 who exactly do you see to get jaw misalignment checked out? An orthodontist? My jaw is super misaligned and it's uncomfortable and I also hate the way it looks.

Oh yeah! She got a thinner nose, bigger lips... Her eyelids are more visible so idk if she got a blapheroplasty or if it's only a brow lift since they do seem higher... Her face also looks larger now so idk if it's weight gain or some bonecheeks fillers... 🤔
She seems to have had quite a lot done at this point. Nose at least once, cheeks, lips, probably a fat transfer and other stuff too. She looks quite different, it's fairly noticeable.

Hi Lorry, when you analyze people for facelifts, do you consider the tragus area and how it changes? Also the sideburns in men? I noticed that Tom's sideburns seem cut off higher after his possible facelift. Is it possible to have a facelift and still have your tragus stay the same?
Being someone with a weaker chin, seeing a young Tom Cruise also with a similar feature gives me a lot more confidence lol
Personally, as a girl, I find it scary when some men have super strong jawlines. I like how he looks now too, but younger Tom Cruise is a really good looking guy! So don’t feel bad for yourself at all.

For an Actor, appearance is everything. Tom Cruise subtle, and very well done procedures, merely accentuate an already nice face. I think his choice of procedures, and film roles, show that Tom Cruise is a class act, that understands how important less is more, is. He is a very keen and talented actor, who makes great role choices, and just great choices no matter what he does!
Can you do Victoria's Secret angels next? Especially Elsa Hosk, Yamin Wijnaldum, Adriana Lima etc. A mini-series on this would be so interesting! ❤❤

@@FLdancer00 not really, but I, for example, compared myself to so many of them for SO many years and it’s just a bit comforting to hear that they are not 100% natural. Maybe it would help many people to stop comparing themselves to such a high beauty standard.

I just feel like those girls started out super beautiful naturally. However they look now is just procedures to hold back aging. None of them look drastically different from when they started, so for me, it would be a boring video.
Watch a bunch Lorry's videos and then compare a 2010 photo of your favorite angel to a photo from 2022. You'll be able to spot the differences.

What interests me is in 1987 there was a surgeon with the skills to do that type of implant work.
Tom has had excellent work done and never seems to overdo it - he just looks younger again, like he wound back the clock. For an already handsome man with an iconic image, that's the way to do it! Also he never messed with his hooded eyes, thank god!

We saw Top Gun in the theatre, and I was telling my husband : Nicole should have asked for Tom's surgens number, because his plastic surgerys are flawless.

Do you think you could maybe hire an artist/editor to make an edit of each celebrity at the end of the video of what they would look like now if they had never had all these surgeries? It would be really interesting to see
That's what fascinates me most about this channel, we will never know for sure what each person would have looked like aging without the surgeries.
There's an app for that isn't there? Face app. Uses AI to show you what you would look like older and the opposite gender.

Just look at everyone in the real world of a certain age. Nobody looks completely fresh and wrinkle free in their 70s except with help.

These videos are so eye - opening. Not that I had any illusion about celebrities and cosmetic surgery, but the actual extent of it, presented in this way, is astonishing. And to think that the whole beauty industry in all its forms has an underlying idea that we can achieve some kind of physical "perfection" or flawlessnes that is presented to us through celebrities.... This starts to look more and more like a twist at the end of the movie that suddenly makes you reassess everything you just watched 😂
Celebrity endorsements of products are terrible. No product can compete with these procedures, yet they try to sell it. I’m glad the awareness of what’s really going on is getting more light. No judgement, but it’s out of reach for most of us.
Wow, his work is an absolute home run! So natural-looking but each change had a major impact.
He was smart to space out the work he's had done, he didn't do the typical celeb thing and get a ton done all at once and then pretend he just "lost weight" or "fixed his deviated septum". And after his jaw/chin enhancement, everything he's had done since was to maintain his looks, Tom didn't destroy his distinctive features.

Yes please make more videos on men's surgeries. I love how subtle they are and minimal making them look like a refreshed version of their age rather than being moulded the same like what female celebs try to to do with the same noses and lips or same bbls shapes...
