The best extremely small speakers i know, are the ones fitted in mobile phones. They do need digital signal processing to sound good, and their efficiency is pretty bad but with power supplied via the track, there's enough power available to compensate for that. There are tons of those available on the Chinese market, and i think the cost is relatively low. Might be worth ordering a few samples and trying them out :)
Just discovered these models - very high-end expensive units. Way out of my league but when you consider the expertise and craftsmanship of the designers and production teams AND the unbelievable standard of construction, realism, light and sound etc, they are most definitely something to aspire to owning. One day. 😍👍🇦🇺
In the stage of life I don't have the money for one right now. I sure hope your doing runs now and then of these in another couple years cause I will surely buy one.

I wish scale trains would do the centennial for n scale.
That would be nice to have a DDA40X LOCOMOTIVE from scale trains in N scale. The other river counter models that I have are just amazing.
I wish athearn would do one too. Having to go to bachmann just to get a centennial in n scale is not right as their model is built very cheaply
