heyy Jason im looking to invest in a dtg printer thats going to be able to wrap around all the clothing (not just a logo in the middle of a t shirt for example). how sophisticated are these printers? like if i take the shirt out and put it back in will it pick up where it left off and finish the design so that it can be completely cover the t shirt?
Hey, so short answer is no, unless you can get it to align perfectly everytime which isn't going to happen. The best way to do an all over design would be with a large heat transfer or sublimation. you can also contact some cut and sew manufacturers as well.
SUBSCRIBED Have you had the same machine the whole time, did you replace parts like the printhead And are you using the Epson Ink or something cheaper? Excellent video.✅👍
Yeh that's the same machine. I have been fortunate that I've never had to replace the print head, just minor parts being replaced but I took good care of it. I only used epson ink too. It's expensive but I didn't want to chance messing something up. and thank you for t he kind words!
@@jasonpardue bro at what point does this printer makes sense, it’s extremely expensive and I literally just got my first printing press, haven’t even assembled it yet, therefore I don’t have customers other than my co-workers. If I can get 10 orders a week at $35 per shirt, do you think it makes sense at 40 customers per month?
Great video, thank you for the details. What do you think about Epson3070? I see lots of potential in printing and branding business and thinking to get into it all the way with bigger printer. Also Epson3070 requires 3 times less ink from what I've heard. Any opinions?
I personally wouldn't invest in the 3070 simply for the cost. Epson ink is VERY expensive. As far as lasting longer or being bigger cartridges I'm not sure. If I were you I would start small and just dump profits back into the business. the 3070 is just a big leap for starting out. Good Luck though and I hope you crush it either way!

🤔Brother Jason, the baseline Epson F2100 just went on sale...
down to $10K, what is your honest advise?
Thanks man.
Honestly it’s a good grab but look at the Brother GTX DTG machines. epson has anew DTG printer that massive that they are are trying to sell now.
@@jasonpardue the Brother GTX looks like a hog but that may be out my league...what’s the upside on the Brother? How is it better?
