  • So we have been growing and growing fast! We have purchased a lot of equipment and will be moving into ANOTHER warehouse in a few months. I haven't even learned how to use 1 machine but if you can use one then you can use 12 right?!

    I have honestly given my EMT-16x an honest workout for 3 years and want to get rid of it. I have never been able to solve my issues because Melco blames the digitizer and the digitizers blame Melco. I use well know, respected digitizers and here is how I know it is Melco....
    I can sew 2 flats (polos)...one will sew perfectly without issues while the 2nd will have constant thread breaks and a ton of missed trims despite not changing a single setting or material between either of them. In terms of Richardson caps...my EMT16x stuggles and the quality sucks after all the sewing issues getting through just one cap. I have done all my maintenance, always check my acti-feed & presser foot adjustments before each job and done head timing, hook timing, and other adjustments to no avail. I use Magna-Glide bobbins and Madeira threa exclusively.The back of my sewout always look like someone puked a pile of thread out and it is full of loops and bobbin thread going from one color change to the next without trimming. I have given this machine about as much of an honest, patient try and am looking into a Barudan machine now to replace this one. Good Luck but if you have ANY problems like I do, you will only be made to loook like an incompetent, unskilled embroiderer every step of the way.

      Pretty confusing out there in the market -- I've watched people who love their Melco's and those who have pushed their Melco's to the corner of their shop and never powered them back on.

    Stay away from Ricoma, there in Florida and Chinese, they bait and switch on the financing show low and switch to high primarily targeting low income folks. Henry Ma, Mao, anyone bueller?. Melco is awesome and the service AREA is what folks need to keep in mind. Happy in Texas is good and brother is great for the home folks. Melco would be my choice as well.

    That's awesome! I can't even get one, it must be really exciting. Hubby don't want me paying that much for that machine so I am just hoping that someday I will buy one. Would really love to see it and try it out! Congrats on your business!!!

    I have Melco and Tajima , if you try Tajima is way better quality and not many thread breaks as the Melco , Melco Is very bad for hats and 3d puff

    • @jasonpardue
      @jasonpardue  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeh We are getting quite a bit of thread breaks, we have been successful in getting some good runs without any issues but it's like once a problem starts it takes a while to get out of the rut. I am definitely interested in Tajimas for our larger runs.

      I have a Ricoma mt-1501 and I found that when you do hat, slowdown the machine and you should be good. Plus check your tension and get good thread. I use Madeira. Good luck and good idea about the single heads but I wonder what is the price difference between a 6 head and 6 Melco?
