Greetings Joe, more great scenic content and those stores are setup Western style and presentation. I just surveyed the web and would you believe that there is proximity one hundred thousand US citizens populating Thailand at any given time which makes Thailand a very popular country to visit or reside. I agree that the price of high end items are indeed more expensive there than in the USA which is totally understandable considering the local Thailand business environments. Surely your new sound bar is serving you well. I purchased a 70 inch ULED 4K Samsung TV for five hundred dollars. Thanks for sharing and I look forward to your next episode..
Yes, Thailand is a great place to live or visit. I never found a sound bar. I'm just using the blue tooth speaker for now. It's fine. I haven't turned the tv on in a week. I'm always on the laptop.
hisense is actually a supplier for samsung or if it was LG so they made their own product, costco (which youre probably most familiar with as a big retailer) sells them frequently theyre great TVs with comparable performance for say 600 usd to a 900 samsung or lg.
I order sheets and other items from Amazon. I'm in the Philippines. Free shipping over $49 and it takes about 10 days to arrive. Edit: there's also a delivery service called Jonny Air in the US. You can order from Walmart, Old Navy, any company that has mail order. Order it to their address and they will send it to you in the Phils. Haven't tried that yet though. Just saying in case they have similar availability in Thailand. I'm thinking of moving there so thanks for your informative videos without all the drone-y scenes and music cranked up to 100x 😂
Thanks for watching. I've never used Amazon here. Thailand can be a little tricky with customs. You are suppose to pay Amazon (or whoever) the customs fee. It's a 50/50 shot when the package arrives that you have to go to the post office and pay again. I knew a guy who bought two pair of Levi's. He got the double fee. So it ended up costing and extra $30.
Hi Joe! Do you know if Thailand approved already the 60-day tourist visa on arrival for US citizens. Just wondering if you knew cause Im planning my trip around and I couldn't find anything except on Reddit someone said it hasn't been approved yet but I thought you might know more since you're boots on the ground. Thanks again my friend! And looking forward to buy you that beer at Stellas😀
I haven't heard. Thailand makes changes fast. They announced May 30, that June 1st you'll get 60. They made no mention if you could get a 30 day extension. June 1 came and went. The rumor was it would start at the end of June. But, other changes were said to start in September. So who knows. I would keep an eye on Khao Sod English or Pattaya Mail. Maybe Tim Newton on TH-cam. These are reliable sources.
Do you order off of Lazada? what is their return policy so something like that soundbar. Can you order off of Amazon there? Wish or aliexpress. Are you finding you are starting to accumulate stuff?
I try to keep my stuff to a minimum. No Lazada for me. If I need a small plug, etc.. I ask my girlfriend to order it on Shoppe. You can get some items on Amazon, but there seems to be issues with customs. Amazon is suppose to collect, but it's not uncommon to have to pay twice when it arrives. All a sudden that $50 pair of Levi's might cost $75 with double customs fees. I'm making up the numbers, but you get the picture.
Hisense is actually Chinese and they're very successful in eating into South Korean's brands dominant market, because they're far cheaper for the same level of quality and they're also their supplier in the first place. It's also doesn't help that there's a massive wave of anti South Korea sentiment going on in Thailand right now. What happened? South Korea has been extra rigorous against Thai tourists recently, more so than the other nationals and the Thai citizens caught winds of it and the South Koreans on social media weren't helping the matter with condescending and insulting attitude on their social account at all. There're many (like 10 of them), very popular TH-cam and X accounts that specializes in translating foreign online discourse about Thailand to Thai and if those account caught winds of any bad mouthing against Thailand. They'll descend upon them to milk contents like locusts.
🎉🎉🎉 hey me offering some thought. Wben look at sound bar, also look at a 3.1 surround system. Surround also comes 2.1, 5.1 and 7.1.... 3.1 may do the jo for ya with the size of your unit.
Appreciate the video! Love seeing how you put together such a liveable life in BKK.
Glad you enjoyed it. More videos to come.
Thanks for the great video Joe.
Glad you enjoyed it

Is it Chinese? That makes sense. Looked like a nice screen
Wow that Decathlon store is awesome… I’ll be spending some time there. Cheers Joe 😊
It's a nice store. They just opened a new branch at Terminal 21. But, the Rama 4 store is huge.
