Derek you are by far the most entertaining TH-camr on the innerwebs! Thank you for this channel and the comical relief it brings to the madness called life!
One of the things I love about Derek and VGG is how genuine the content is. It all feels real and genuine, like we are being drawn into part of the life, almost like friends or family. A lot of TH-camrs lose that when they get a lot of subscribers, yet even with over 1million subs, Derek stays genuine and doesn't try to change the way he is. Respect and kudos. This is what keeps me coming back for more.
His a back to basics kind of guy. He can make any thing run because he get what in takes. Timing, compression, air , fuel and ignition. If you have all five it will run. How well it will run is up to the variables. Air fuel ratio. How much compression. Time in advance and quality of fuel.
What a great resource for anyone wanting to attempt this type of work. I can't help but imagine, what if TH-cam was around 27 years ago when I was messing with cars, rusty floor pans and rockers panels. Thanks.
Can you find sheet steel? Cut up old car doors and hoods? Bead rollers and hammers work well for forming them if you have patience. We're just lazy over here.
"All I gonna do it flatten this out , Ting ting ting... YAAAAAAAOOOOO YAAAAAAAOOOOO OOOUUUCCCHH. I'm telling you, a feller really almost died eating while watching VGG. Keep on being that great, congrats for the 400k, believe you me you'll be at level 500 before christmas ain't kidding you
I'm 60 years old, been working on cars and stuff since I was 12, Derek I feel your pain when simple things go sideways. Great videos man. This is the first channel I ever subscribed to. Now I'm subscribed to all your friends channels. Great entertainment for an old guy.
Well, I'll be dipped. I just figured something out. He started this channel so his family wouldn't think he was crazy talking to himself whilst working on vehicles.
I think he watched Dora The Explorer for tips first. Good Job Derek, keep it coming! Just don't weld the Tanya Harding to the floor pan or you'll cuss like Tonya does, and she cusses to shame a trucker.
The quality of the education Derek is providing makes a feller think he should be paying tuition. Thanks for the great content that is excellently produced.

With all that's happening in the world right now, watching you makes it all go away for a little bit. Thank you for letting me watch all you do. The only complaint I have is I need more.
Derek, In the beginning, you say "huff da" - funny as this appears as a Norwegian expression probably survived among the immigrants to your area. Keep on the good work! Your show gives me a flashback to my school days when I worked at a scrap yard recovering parts from salvaged wrecks in the 70ties. Disassembling the Beetle engines with the old flame wrench was one of the specialties then.
I hope u plan on keeping this truck after all this work u are doin ronit your son is gonna have the best truck in the world after u finish with it and rebuild the engine u are a great auto and body shop guy keep up the great work
